- The up-close wildlife encounters continue in this final episode of our Alaska road trip! Not only did we see whales, otters, puffins and more on the glacier cruise we took to Columbia Glacier, but we also saw sea lions playing, fighting off bald eagles, and fishing for salmon just feet away from us by a hatchery!!!! It was the most perfect finale to our epic Alaska summer. Wrapping up this trip was bittersweet, but we’re excited to get back to Canada - which we liked even better than Alaska, if you can believe that! - and that’s where our next 3 vlogs will take us. Driving through icebergs IS crazy! But also beautiful 🩵🤍
Pretty “normal” from what we understand, but the captain did have some steering mechanism issues to contend with during our time in that area. Capt. Amanda was cool and calm, and it was handled seemingly easily. Probably a regular occurrence in such conditions.

The tacos were fantastic. Highly recommend rockfish if you ever come across it - overall, very similar to halibut! And you're not old, you're experienced! 🥰

Normally, seeing glaciers when it’s warm is not what I would plan for. But that is…INSANE!
Andie whispering is usually a wow moment…like those sea otters.
Those noises sound like my stomach before dinner.
Usually, animal tails are not that impressive. THAT ONE WAS.
That’s cold? Eh, let’s get you to a January playoff game at Lambeau Field.
I feel for our world with what’s happening to those glaciers. And to know we’re to blame.
