Hey Andrew! From a 50 year old man with a bunch of musical instruments including many ukes and zero sense of rhythm but a rather nice voice, your song lesson is the first one I could ever actually follow. That's all I ever wanted. To be able to sing and play a few Simon and Garfunkel songs. God bless you! Just bought your book as a show of support :) Definitely coming back here for more.
I’ve been playing along with you for some time already. And have never wrote a comment yet. Please know. These songs and tutorials are a big help and meditation is a way for me. Thank you 🙏
It's been a couple of times I come here to listen to this song and play along with my ukulele. So fun for a beginner like me!!! Thanks a lot for this easy way to play thta lovely song.!!
Just bought your book! You are amazing! I do not usually comment, but this time I felt compelled to because your channel are truly amazing for a ukulele beginner! For anyone reading, literally just go buy his book and support him. (I am not sponsored, this is my school email) As a recommendation for your channel, I suggest maybe create an interaction with your fan by having a platform (reddit, instagram, etc) for your viewer to submit their "homework" video.
Thanks for the request! I'll look into it and if they have some popular songs that can be played with just C, Am, F, and G, I'll consider making tutorials of them. 👍
Hi ! Just discovered your channel, i'm glad I found it :) Could you do "This our song" from Camp rock 2 ? This song is really cheerful, might as well enjoy it. Great job anyway !!
Thanks for the song request Clementine! I'll take a look, and if it's a popular song that can be done with just C, F, Am, and G, I'll consider making a tutorial of it. 👍
High Andrew, I am new to the ukelele and was wondering which strum pattern you are playing for the sound of silence, I can’t quite work it out but it sounds great
Hi Peter! To keep things simple and avoid overwhelming beginners, I don’t include the strum patterns in the videos. If you are just getting started, I’d recommend sticking with a simple downstrum once per chord. After learning a few songs, having some fun, and gaining confidence, feel free to expand from there, but there’s no need to go overboard. To this day, I stick with just three simple strum patterns that create enough variety to avoid sounding monotonous. I've explained and written them out in the video description for you to reference. ☝ Please feel free to use whatever strum patterns you’d like as you learn the songs on my channel, but if you are interested in replicating the strumming patterns I use, I’ve carefully written them out for each song with the lyrics and chords in my songbook: fourchordsimple.com/songbook/ Enjoy! 😊
I was incredibly thrilled when I saw you had done this song, Do you have any idea if I would need to change the chords to play it more like the Disturbed version?

In the first couple pages of the songbook, you'll find instructions for printing the songbook or converting it into a number of other formats such as a PDF. It is very flexible.
@@fourchordsimple Thanks, I actually bought the songbook a few months ago. The Sound of SIlence song was not in there. How do I get the chords for that song?
Hi EJ, every once in a while, I'll modify chords to fit the simple four chords we use on this channel. For this reason, they may not match up with chords you find elsewhere for this song. Hope this makes sense! :)

Hi Nathan, I love using UltimateGuitar to look up song chords.
Hi
I'm struggling to figure out the strumming pattern for this one. What is it exactly?

@@julietibbetts7617 Sorry for any confusion, Julie. Are you using the auto-updating Google Doc version?
Do you have the music & lyrics to print out of your 4 chord songs?

Hey you, don't you realise some colours just don't work. I cant hardly read the lyrics because blue on turquoise is impossible to read.
Thanks for sharing your observation! :)
i like your vid but the chords are not perfect
