This video contains the Ultimate MW3 Zombies Easter Egg Guide to unlocking the Season 4 Reloaded Unstable Rift in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. This includes a short Easter Egg quest involving completing 3 obelisks around the map using various ammo mods in order to spawn in the Unstable Rift. We also go over the best loadout and equipment so you can beat this on your first attempt! This guide will show you how to unlock and find Season 4 Dark Aether Rifts so you can use them in your future games to enjoy the new Unstable Rifts in Season 4 Reloaded.

& Make it so that multiple squads can go in, it's ridiculous that only one can do it
25 minutes flying around just for the rifts to be taken by other squads i keep seeing posts of people completing it it must be a nice feeling some people have jobs and can only attempt so many times plus wasting a scorcher and other gear is no fun

It'll open during the last few minutes of a zombies match too. You don't have to just do the alter kills to get it
@@King_Irvlike if someone does all 3 and goes in in the middle of the match, it will randomly open again at the end of the match without having to do the three alters one more time? Sorry just clarifying so I can understand LOL
100% or at least stay open for all players especially the ones who cleared 1/3 soul boxes

I really hate that only one team can do it. It causes more toxicity and frustration every game similar to the t3 talismans everybody races to every game. I hope they change course and functionality so any team can enter at any time.
Exactly, this gets vastly overlooked as to why this game has failed, when you can't even go into the tier 3 unless you already have a top tier loadout just to have a chance of getting any contracts due to full 6 man squads rushing in within 30 seconds of the games beginning making it nigh impossible to complete contracts. The two solutions I think could work is 1, allow people to boot into the zombies by themselves, only them on the whole map, or as you said make it so any team can do anything at once, don't make it joint for the whole lobby. This and the crashes are the main reasons why I haven't played mw3 zombies that often, they are issues big enough to halt progression simply because you are unlucky or haven't already completed everything yet
They just needs let us run private lobbies imo

yea sux one team can only do it per three obelists. but chances are that team are trash. lol. nobody in lobbies are doing the new rift. this unstable one is truly for the hardcore

Yeah I gave up trying to progress the story missions after season 2. Strictly tried just to get the ray gun schematic which I JUST unlocked a few weeks ago thanks to some Randoms I matched with after trying to get it since launch, and quiting MWZ for a long time.
Shout out to those guys, they are the real MVPs in MW3 💯
@@ITLBGaming You don't need to do the story missions in order to get the Schematics, you can get them by simply joining other players who have Elder Sigils and follow them into the Dark Aether areas. Best strategy is to disable "Squad Fill" and go in Solo, and do a couple of missions in T1 or T2 in order to get Perks and PaP. When you feel ready, enter the T3 zone and spam "Request to Join" around groups of other players!

The Rift can be opened multiple times per game. I got it to open three separate times (I completed 8 of the 9 obelisk things). Twice a different team was closer and took it. The third time I got it and it was several minutes after the Aether Storm started spreading. If you guys want to get into the Rift, bring a scorcher, bring the grenade launcher with all ammo mods and be persistent.

How would you even bring a scorcher tho? Like what if that’s what I crafted for the game before, so now I want to fully reduce the cooldown, yea you have your stash but it’ll run out eventually

Good tutorial, I doubt I'll try it anytime soon, I haven't even completed act 2, I'm a relative newcomer to zombies, just started venturing in to T2, sometimes go in to T3 to get a dog, especially now I know of 3 different spawn points for it.
Interesting update, I personally play zombies and Cod in general just because of a Woods operator pack.. grinding XP for his styles

i cant believe people are disappointed with this update. Personally, i think this is some of the best content they've released in a while. It's challenging but it's genuinely fun and it was a nice change from the repetitive content they've been releasing.
I did it first try blind with 3 other randoms and with box lmg lol. Was insane and felt too hard but somehow very easy to manage if you get a nice team setup.
Use RGL AMP (Slug ammunition) with detonator and mags of holding. Make sure to have healing aura, Kazimirs and sentry guns. Golden plates not needed since the rift gives u it when you get in, it may give you pap3 and legendary tool and perks...

@TecraX2 true, but they never mentioned the AMP and it is crucial to have it for bosses
I got two brain rot obelisk in one of my games. So you could get lucky with nkt needing a bunch of ammo types.
Little tip,while one person works on the last pillar thing have the rest of the squad hurry to t2 and t3 so they can be close when it opens,scorchers do help tho

Not only is it a pain looking for the altars and not only can one team do it, but I just failed my very first attempt. I got the round 3/5 and we all died because it is super difficult.
Maan, my game froze during level 2 almost finished and we were 4-5 peeps.. Im so mad right now.

One more I’ve found is t2 zone by where the raid stash in the parking lot is. By the building downtown.

I mean is it that difficult to put that "unstable rift" as a seperate mode next to the zombies mission? Or like when you get in zombies you should have to options such as like "DMZ" or "Round based" in my opinon.

Well no lol Treyarch are on Bo6, they stopped like halfway through this year with Mw3 Zombies to work on Bo6. Activision/Infinity Ward are the Devs who work on Mw3 and now theyre by themselves without Treyarch, this is why Zombies has slowed down so much recently. lol Bo6 will be crazy good.

Randomly got a team of 6 yesterday who tried this. That fifth round is no joke, it’s ridiculous I wasn’t prepared bcuz I went in with a Lockwood 680. Lost everything and I’m back at containment lvl75 smh.
So the camo is for every gun u have right?
id be cool if you completed it, it shrunk your schematic cooldown time permanently to half of what it was previously, and doing the rift again would do the same, again, again and again until all your schematics had a minimum cooldown of 3 hours. thats how id do it if i worked there
I just realised how insanely lucky I am it being my first game after the update and I got into a squad that did the setup and we managed to complete it on our first try with only 3 people 😅
Yeah having only 1 team blows but we were able to grab it. Team of 6… each had 2-3 Sentry’s (12-18)… an extra self revive… 1st attempt Rounds 1-3 easy for 6. Rounds 4 and 5 we got dropped. Thank goodness we had 4 dogs and 3 of us had group rez. We lasted. Got the Sick Camo.
So… does it just zero out the cooldowns once? It doesn’t give a permabuff for reduced cooldown time
It’s no joke. Did it yesterday with squad of 6. Had a couple dogs with us they didn’t make it past round 2. Several of us were downed 4-5 times throughout, thankfully had couple RGL’s, managed to get it done. Last couple rounds total gong show.
I found on in tier three just north of the building with the ammo cache near where wonderfiz and pac spawn to the east side of the zone

I was hyped when i heard round based zombies. I got on, youtubed how to do it. Now depression is setting in...
So, in general, the obelisks are near the river going around t3, it looks like. Seems easy enough to find them if that's the case.
Does the rift give you mags as well?
1 of the obelisks are located north of the football field on the road the other side of the river.
Another is located in T3 on the right side, the 3rd bridge down.

I just unlocked it took 4 straight hours but it was worth it
The final wave is technically equivalent to what a Tier 10 zone would be by damage.

I want to see somebody do this with only bullet weapons. Crossbow and RGL sort of trivialize it.

I found a new altar position, which is not marked on the map currently. Ist in the t3-zone in front of the big bridge, which connect t3 to t2 zone at zaravan city
You need to add a dot, on the obilisk map, on the tiny island next to the manor

Energy mine is electric why it counted when you were doing an electric obelisk lol, Aether Blade also counts as electric kills btw
The day this cam out i did it with 2 other failed the first time then won the 2nd by the skin of our teeth me and my buddy are still sorta freakin out that we did this
If multiple teams get to the rift they can load in together. Thats why it says how many squads make it in
I can see group camping til the rift pops up then grabbing it which is going to upset the one who actually did the work

You say to bring a grenade launcher or crossbow as your primary, and the scorcher for backup for the unstable rift. Yet, you're using an akimbo for the obelisks to kill the zombies with the ammo mods. Can't bring in 3 guns, so what do you bring in the match? Also, thanks, great information for the new content.
Crossbow is the all rounder for being able to count the ammo mod kills but any bullet weapon will do just fine, just beware of the T3 obelisk.

Scorcher comes as a case/item. 🤷♂️
I used the rgl with the ammo mods and it worked and I did all 3 with dead wire I think u can just do any of them I just did one in teir 1 and 2 and 3

Once a lobby opens it it should be open for all players to enter. Its stupid that if one team enters all others are screwed

So basically if a team goes to do this and another team wants to do it they can just camp the pillar and kill the zombies before they get in the circle and stop the other team from completing it.....

Actually, some of the altars spawn near exfils in T1/T2 and in T3 they appear near Dark Aether Rifts. But the easiest way to find them is to have a 6-man squad and check the map on wzhub lmao

Did you notice a lot of these pillsrs are spawning very close to exfill spots? I bet if you check all exfill locations you will find them.
