I ended up on a last minute trip to Paris alone for 10 days where I had Ashley spontaneously join half way through. I'm a New Yorker, but Paris has my heart. You summarized it perfectly-it's always so easy to slip into the Parisian way of life while I'm there, and then I never want to leave. As Audrey Hepburn says, Paris is always a good idea ;)

I hate when people say, Paris is so overrated! Paris is such a beautiful city; outside the touristy areas it actually not as chaotic. You should definitely look into living in Paris for awhile. The French way of life is so pleasant taking time during your meals, enjoying vacations, and the FOOD!

I'm a 25 year old who has lived in İstanbul, Australia, London, Toulouse. I currently live in Paris, I'd call Parisian life style the most chaotic, fast-paced and exhausting. Paris is fun for 6 months, and then the negativity of people living in the city gets too disturbing. Would love to be just a tourist again in Paris. Unfortunately reality is much different.
