At about 5:51 says leaves grow alternately, but opposite leaves are shown. Details are important when foraging wild edibles.

I just tried it for the first time this week (and just ate a chicken sandwich with it lol.. It goes amazing in poultry sandwiches). It is so so delicious, with a perfect, crisp, light texture. It has a strong flavor, a lot like pepper (and I typically put about 20 twists of fresh black/multicolored pepper corns on almost everything I eat, so you can only imgine how much I love a peppery flavor!) When tasting it, I could tell it had a lot of good minerals, and I had a strong suspicion that it has some kind of powerful health benefits (like marijuana, which is also very potent and good for you..and delicious lol).. And I was really surprised to learn about how many different anti-cancer benefits it has (including chemically-disrupting the cancer-forming process within the cell, which is exactly what the "anti-proliferative" cannabinoids in Marijuana do..which the Surgeon General made an official statement about in 2015..)..Great video! (Lol..it just said "sativum".. IDK what the relationahip to "sativa" is, though..if any..).. Prevents macular degeneration, too?? (Severe astigmatism, here haha).? I'm literally gonna consume at least one big bag per month of it for the rest of my life (also just like weed haha)..

We love it as well. My wife likes to make WILD watercress and potato soup. Be careful not to eat too much especially raw, it can burn coming out in the urine BADLY!😰

To me those leaves appear opposite, not alternate. Thank you for this video nonetheless, it's helpful in identification.

..And I thought raw baby spinach/baby arugala on sandwiches was beyond amazing..IDK if I'll ever eat either ever again now lol.. This is so powerful, you can actually taste it (based on that last part, I'll make sure not to consume it in excess, though lol..)..

Another great video. Do you have any tips on growing watercress at home? I can get watercress cuttings from the bags of watercress sold in supermarkets but they seem to 'bolt' when kept in still water. I guess some sort of water pump is needed to slowly move the water around?

What are the effects of drying these herbs for preservation?
Do they damage the effectiveness of the bio-activity?
I would love to have a stock on hand for off-season use!!

They are super easy to propagate and grow indoors all year round, at least the Thai watercress is.
