      Hi. Are you from the Montreal area? And do you have a brand new car? Currently, I only offer one detailing package and it's the total interior/exterior new car prep with ceramic coating. Very high end job. So the vehicle has to be brand new, delivered from the dealership less than one month ago.

      @@PanTheOrganizer Hi Pan I don't quite get this video, it's nice don't get me wrong but didn't you have your porsche ceramic coated already with a full detail, you're doing it again, is that just to keep it absolutely mint condition or you wasn't happy with the first job and decided to do it yourself, just a bit puzzled. I think the car isn't more than a year old yet. Of course maybe I am wrong and it's not your one but someone else's.

      Heheh it seems you feel into the trap! This is not my car lol. This is a customer's 911 Carrera in Agathe grey color. I own a 911 Turbo S in Aventurine Green color and I made a spring maintenance wash video recently, and the Roar Coating is doing exactly like day 1. High end coating with high end performance. ;)
      These are two completely different cars. It's quite obvious when you see the larger rear hips on my car, with air intakes in the rear wings, different wheels, larger carbon ceramic discs, huge yellow 10 piston calipers, rear spoiler, etc.

    Hey Pan. Great video. Just a couple of observations. Whenever I wash and detail my car, it always surprises me the tools and products I always reach for. The brushes from Detail Factory, I have 4, P&S Brake Buster, I use it in a IK hand foamer. Just great products. I have a bottle of Descale in my arsenal and can’t wait to try it, and I have a bottle of Retyre on its way to me now. I recently applied an Avalon king ceramic to my 2013 Audi S5 about 4 days ago. I just ordered the duraslic Xtreme with your link. My question is, can I apply this over my Avalon king coating? Or should I do an abrasive removal of this prior to applying the Duraslic coating? Thank you in advance.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 года назад +1

      Hi Chance. You can’t apply a coating on top of another one. You would need to machine polish the entire surface to ensure 100% removal of the AK coating, then IPA wipe, and then apply the new coating.

    I'm trying to do a paint enhancement on a black 2018 Ford F-150. The owner isn't looking for perfection. To me the clear coat is soft. So far I've used a combination of the Meguiars microfiber pad or a Rupes yellow pad with Sonax perfect finish. I'm not getting enough cut with the yellow pad and I'm getting micro marring with the microfiber pad. Any recommendations on what to use to keep this as a one step process?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 года назад +2

      These are questions near impossible to answer as there isn't a one size fits all in the polishing world. You need to do test spots and try different compounds/polishes/pads combos to see what works best for the specific paint you are working on, and what level of defect removal you wish to achieve.
      A one-step paint enhancement isn't meant to remove a lot of scratches and swirls. It's meant to remove very light marring, superficial scratches and swirls and make the paint "pop" a bit more.
      If you want more cut, try this pad: amzn.to/3t3jZSD

      Yeah I switch methods every now and then. I like to experiment. But I still clean the wheels before the paintwork. Some prefer washing their wheels at the end. What ever works for each one is fine, as long as the end results are good and you use safe washing and drying techniques.

    Hey Pan, I just wanted to say that I owe you a debt of gratitude.
    Today, I did a rinseless wash with ONR, did a chemical and mechanical decontamination, did a second contact wash with ONR, did an Isopropyl wipe down, and then put on a ceramic coating with Gyeon Can Coat EVO on my new, two week old car... all without a hose and running water because of the restrictions of the building I live in.
    Why the gratitude? Because before today, I'd never even so much as hand washed one of my cars before. I was always a "take it to a car wash and pay someone to do it" sort of person. Considering that I'm going to be 48 years old soon, that's a long time to try something new.
    Not only that, I did the whole process with my 18yo son and we had so much fun doing it together.
    Two months ago, there was no way I would have had the confidence or even the basic understanding of how to do any of that stuff, but between you, Yvan Lacroix, and Levi and Anthony from The Rag Company, I not only learned the basics, but got the confidence to give it a shot. Paint is often the most expensive part of your car and so the fear of "screwing up the paintwork on a brand new car" was something that would have crippled me mentally two months ago.
    But thanks to you and those other guys (and dozens of hours watching your videos) I felt that I could do it.
    So thanks to you, my friend (and Yvan, Levi , and Anthony) - I'm now someone who enjoys washing their own car.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Год назад +1

      You need to calculate your own PIR ratio according to your setup. There’s no point in people sharing their ratios as they don’t necessarily apply to your exact situation.
      I said that the Bilt Hamber snow foams are great but it’s tricky to calculate all the PIR stuff and also you have to decide if you want 3, 4 or 5% PIR.
      Search for “Bilt Hamber PIR calculation” on RUclips and you’ll find some videos on the topic. Or follow the instructions on the label, they are quite clear.

    I noticed on some of your videos you wash the wheels and then pre-foam the whole car, and some videos like this you pre-foam the whole car before washing the wheels. Is there any reasoning for the order change?
    Also, sometimes you snowfoam the car and do contact wash while foamy, sometimes you rinse the car off before the contact wash, is there a specific circumstance for each?

    Hi Pan, first time commenter here. Been subscribed for a couple of months now. Thanks for introducing me to the wonderful world of detailing! Got confused on the choice of shampoos. So you used BH auto foam as a pre-wash which is alkaline, then followed that up with Carpro Descale which is slightly acid. I'm guessing for ultimate cleaning and mineral deposits removal. But you also mentioned in your new Carpro products video that you need to follow Descale with another wash. So what's up? 😅 or is it just all preparation for another coating which was done in the end?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 года назад +1

      Hi Pepito. First, since you are subscribed, let me officially welcome you to the Pan The Organizer family!
      If you rinse the car thoroughly after Descale, there is no need to wash with Reset. The wash with Reset is for those who are unsure if they rinsed properly. You just don’t want any residue drying on the paint.
      I hope this answers your question.

    To be clear descale is safe to use in either foam cannon application or in a wash bucket as a maybe a quarterly or semi annual maintenance wash?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 года назад +1

      In a foamer, dilute 10:1 and in a bucket dilute 100:1 as per the instructions. You use it when needed. So for me, it's to remove any previous waxes before a detailing job to apply a coating, spring maintenance wash, or to remove some water spots if they haven't etched into the clear coat. Descale isn't meant for your regular weekly wash. CarPro has their Reset shampoo for that.
      I show the use of Descale in my spring maintenance tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/oTaFE_p2OAw/видео.html

    Great video very well done!! I have several questions! You ceramic coated the car why did you need to polish it again and then coat the car again? The car looks incredible!! Who ever gets this car when you turn it back in is getting a car that will look brand new and better!! Again well done and thanks!! Hope you and yours are safe and well!!

    Do you use a steam cleaner on the interior and can I use it on a leather arm rest? What drill attachments should I use on carpet, and floor mats?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 года назад

      I would only need the steam cleaner on super dirty surfaces. If you plan on cleaning a super dirty leather arm rest, start by using a leather brush and leather cleaner. You will probably not need a steam cleaner unless there are years of accumulated filth, grime and grease.
