I think by late October, this defense will be terrifying. Wink is back in college after two decades, he's learning to adapt his defense to college level, also the players are learning his style as well.
Wink is growing on me was not sure at first just from a couple things I was not sure about. I would now play for him if I was youngster again. He has 40 plus years and his as most likely forgotten more of the game then most will ever master. Go Blue
Winning football is about performance in practice in order to perform in games. Game-planning is important, but schemes don’t make tackles, bat down passes, shake tacklers, etc.; players do.
All due respect, but did Macdonald and Minter have to face 2 QBs that are arguably top 10 in the country and 2 of the top play callers in college football in September? Let Wink do his thing 〽️
I guess the distinction would be "in September". But Minter and MacDonald faces arguably the best QBs in Penix and Stroud. My thinking though is it wouldn't have mattered the time of year for what Michigan was doing defensively.
Rolder is a smart player with good diagnostic skills who looks really solid when healthy. I wouldn’t say he plays with reckless abandon. That’s probably more Barham, and sometimes Barham doesn’t seem to know what he’s looking at and goes 100 mph the wrong way (though this last game, he was picking off pulling guards left and right).
I like Wink.
He doesn't give a DAMN what you think.
You're a poet and didn't even know it!
I like Wink. Sharp and witty with a dash of fun. D was awesome v USC. I like the growth on D from Fresno State to USC.
Bust their ass wink! 😂😂😂 Finally, a coach who is not listening to armchair coaches!

You said what I was thinking!!!! And wait to Rod Moore comes back
Wink reminds me of John Daly ⛳️
Very good adjustments against USC Wink, keep shutting the haters up.

They have the components to be the best D in this entire era of great M Defenses.

@@louishuff294 faced rose QBs within their first 4 games of being a new DC? Oh
Besides Zone & Man to Man, do you have more innovative defense plsys
His blitz and hidden zone packages were clicking for us vs USC until it didn’t and he adjusted. He is a great DC.
I love this guy. Go Blue.
Why is a majority of our media blowing every decision this staff makes way out of proportion?

Agree, no post game press conference from him after Texas!
This guy somehow fkd up the best defense in the country.. He better start showing some results.
So how accomplished are you as a defensive coordinator?
@@FrankFort9232 Its obvious to anyone who can read a scoreboard, stop simping.
nigga we lost half the defense wym
No one ever mentions Rolder, which is the best LB in the room, in my opinion. Rolder plays with reckless abandon.

Barham has been terrible which is why Rolder is seeing more snaps.
