Amad was injured for a long time so it’s fair that he didn’t go straight in the team… he fought for his place and is now starting!!! That’s how it should be and hopefully if Anthony wants to play he will need to step up or go

    Just getting home
    Much better viewing!
    Decent performance 🙂
    Conceding the 2nd goal late-on
    Is my only gripe
    Other than that I'm pleased
3 Young Boyz on the scoresheet ⚡
    🎶 Bruno Bruno Bruno 🎶
We were chanting that loud all game 📢
    He's absolutely magnificent ⭐
Hence why he's my favourite x
    Cas was monstrous 💥
    Barring a few instances/moments
    He was boss (literally) 🦾
    Class goal-line clearance too
    Mainoo ♥️
    He's just so good man!
    Just watch him play
    No need to say anything
    Love him!
    Well taken goal too ⚽
Amad so assured on the ball
    Keeps the ball well
    Like it's gued to him
    Exceptional close-control
    Especially in tight/compact areas
    Or when being pressed
    Tidy af!
    Oh & what a fkn goal! 🚀
    Sofyan was a machine!
    Similar to Cas
Sure there were a few bad moments
But I thought he was solid
Whizzes the ball forward with pace
I like the way he makes
    Our players make the run
    Good tackles/solid combative work
Was nice to see Licha ♥️
Another 1 of my favourites ⭐
    Top mentality
    No holds barred
    Aggressive/assertive
    But technically adept
    Amazing passing
    Line breaker too
    Big up to Marcus Rashford!
    On making his 400th appearance
    For the club ♥️
29th player in our history to do so
    Rasmus goal ⚽
    Cherry on top 🍒
    Absolutely made my night!
    So happy for him ♥️

Amad is our best option at RW. Not just saying this because of tonight, I've thought this since his loan spell at Sunderland. It's crazy that only now he's been given starts. He's not the finished article, but should for sure be starting over Antony

Amrabat finds a spot , Hojlund gets a pass and sets him off with a finish , Amad hits a screamer , a lot things were good and of course there was the bad , but there is the beginning of a blueprint . Fingers crossed . Keep Amrabat , when he gets into his stride in the premiership we may see him at his best . Ten Hag is protective of the young players and he had to use Amrabat at full back , he didn't really have much choice , but Amrabat did have injuries . Keep Evans in the coaching department for defensive work , and squad player . All told I enjoyed the win . When the team decides to play to Hojlund things will change . He won't put them all away , but the more chances he gets it will work for the whole team .

WE are finally seeing the Amrabat we thought we were signing. He's not Casemiro, but he can certainly do a job as a 6. Worth signing permanently? I think there is a strong shout for that, he has shown he can do a job. Amad once again showing why he's streets better than Antony. Nice to see Hojlund get another goal. For a yound a relatively inexperienced striker, coming to our massive club in the hardest league in the world... he now has 9 PL goals plus 6 cup goals, 15 goals isn't an awful first season's return and there are yet 2 games to play. johnny Evans is probably worth another years contract, maybe on a pay as you play basis to provide cover for our first choice squad CBs and to give the benefit of his experience to our younger players like Kambwala who I think has great promise. I expected us to possibly scrape a draw and was a bit nervous when the Barcodes pulled it back to 3-2, but we actually saw out the last few minutes quite professonally, which we have struggled to do so many tmes this season. Encouraging. Still think City will beat us in the Cup Final, but tbh I could live without European football next season if it helps us get a better settled squad and have fewer injuries.

Give him time ...look at Arsenal..what they are doing now .... I remember few years back people were making memes of them ..... that they will get relegated and what not but they stay stuck with Arteta .... and now we can see the Clear results...

Amrabat was brilliant as he was last game. He was definitely undercooked when he came and got injured again. I think it’s taken him a minute to get back to fitness. He’s now fit and confident and able to impact games. Could get him for £10m and I’d keep him. At worst he’s be a squad player. Rotation and rest the starter sometimes eg Mainoo. Amad. Brilliant! Play him.

Both Amad and Amrabat started with significant injury issues and Amrabat looked to be struggling for full fitness in many of his games. I love both but I think caution is needed on selection calls because the manager has much better info on just how fit the players have been, amongst other things.
I would love to see Amrabat given another season, because I think he could cut it and I think he brings a good attitude. I felt much the same about Sabitzer. I will still back the decision if they let him go, though as I can see counter arguments, as I could with Sabitzer. I have little doubt that if Amad avoids a really serious injury he will be a big part of next season; ETH was going to use him more prominently until he was injured.

The problem with Wan Bissaka is that he keeps everything to himself. For the first Newcastle goal, he should be warning Casemiro about the man behind him. Wan Bissaka is an insane defender, but whenever we go forward through him, it's always negative and tends to go backwards more often than not.
Imo, a smart piece of business would be to include him in the deal to bring Olise to Old Trafford (if we are doing that). Palace loves buying back their full backs.

Why did Ten Hag have to leave it so late to trust in Amad and Amrabat in the midfield. Alot more control and patterns of play with better defensive shape in the first half.
But it seems like all of it came too late and Ineos has made their mind up. Maybe if he wins the FA cup? Need a decision fast.
Persisting with Antony may have cost him his job, and is the reason managers shouldn't be allowed their own signings with allegiances.

  • @NinpoUK
    @NinpoUK 20 дней назад +1

Honestly if ETH is managing the likes of Martinez/Amad/Hojlund/Kambwala etc to be fit for the City game (like, actually fit) instead of crumbling to criticism and rushing them back because of the issues Casemiro has had, and he manages to get a win, he's a genius and deserves a third season. We know he's willing to trust players and young players, look at Mainoo, it's not just "favourites" like with Martinez and Antony that he knows from Ajax. I think there's more to his reluctance to rush Amad into the side and keeping Amrabat out after his poor start (he did play in midfield as well Ste, and it was _not good_.) while he works with him. I don't know, I just think ETH is a lot smarter with football than he's being given credit for. We all thought Arteta was a complete melon when he was saying "trust the process" with back to back 8th place finishes. I genuinely think ETH deserves time with this new management.

It confuses me that Amrabat and Diallo have been largely ignored this season; when given the chance and playing in their correct positions, they have delivered. Our midfield for the final against City should be Amrabat, Mainoo and Bruno. Put Diallo on the right, Hojlund in the centre (and bloody well pass to him) and Garnacho on the left. If ten Hag opts for Casemiro in midfield and goes for Rashford or Antony in attack then questions should be seriously asked.

Ahmad has had two major injuries this season and so for a bulk of the season there should be some Grace given to Eric for not playing in because he was unavailable. However, once he has returned to match fitness, not playing him looks like a big mistake now. I think this is a great lesson on why rotation even when you have favorites, is critical. There needs to be competition in every position and we need to have depth that can push the players to continually improve.

It shouldn't be as much that Amad is amazing as it is that he makes sense to be playing with Rasmus. Antony and Rashford are two wingers that you can afford to play when you have a striker like Martial who is able to drop in and supplement the struggling midfield, always know where to be, be willing and able to play his teammates in and be great carrying the ball from midfield, or away from goal to play others in. Weghorst was also supposed to work in a similar way. Rasmus isn't horrible at link up, but it is not a strong point for him. He's not a natural playmaker. He converts even the lowest of chances really well. He has to play with wingers whose first thought in their mind is to find him. Amad does that. Garnacho probably never will. Much like Ronaldo he can also assist, but his main focus will always be scoring. We looked better because the formation finally made a bit of sense. We don't need current top 3 players in every position to play decent, if not great football. The players on the pitch have to make sense in the full picture together. The transfer seasons were so wonky that everything after was almost a guaranteed mess. When you have recruited inadequately and/or not sold players that should go, you end up with a team no coach can get anything out of.
