Now please mark the following day in your calendar: On Sunday Feb. 2nd RAYE will be performing at the GRAMMY awards show (she's nominated for three categories...), I hope you will be reacting to her performance as soon as it's up - no idea which songs she's going to sing... In case you want to warm up before that: In late December 2024 RAYE was invited to perform for The Apollo at the Kennedy Center Honors Show... She gave a classic song, made famous by the grand Ella Fitzgerald, "Cry Me A River"... It's a rather short version as they had Sleepy Joe in the audience and they needed to get the whole thing done before he'd fall asleep, so they restricted her time... but she managed to deliver an ultimately beautiful version of this standard (which was also beautifully covered by Angelina Jordan...)
