🖖😎👍Very cool and a very greatly fabulously looking shuttle craft, The Javelin type "N" is a very beautiful looking craft indeed!, A job very spectaculary beautifully wonderfully well done Sir!.
Gorgeous work. So much detail, and the lighting accents really sell it to the eye... Also, a Starfleet shuttle with a bathroom... I see it and I appreciate it!
Nice to see American Motors Corporation's Javelin script font after all these years in the thumbnail. Thank you! ❤
The work that you put into these models is just astonishing.
This is an absolutely fascinating bts look! Your work is incredible. Your talent is undeniable.
Thanks for watching!
Love the 2001 crossover stuff. I have worked on and crewed CH-47 Chinooks for 38 years. This would be a great replacement. Replace the cargo hooks with tractor beams. 👍👍
That is an absolutely beautiful design.
That is stunning work. Clavius Moonbus, meet your 23rd century relative, Javelin.
Absolutely beautiful.
I'm digging the HAL-9000 interface in the galley.
Best Trek designs since TOS/Motion Picture.
Everyone has beat me to it. You are supremely talented and your work is awe-inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
It was nice to see this and how she came together from concept. And you kept the shape of the classic shuttle door opening! Tranya for you! :)
This is so incredible, you left me speechless. I hope CBS will go back to filming miniatures one day and if they do, they'd be absolute morons if they wouldn't instantly recruit you
Beautiful and wonderfully crafted 🖖
Just imagine that as the future of RVs.
Wow. Just wow. Beautiful to see it from concept to finished model.amazing work man. So inspiring. Thanks for posting
Thiswould be a neat Round 2 model!
Great level of details, that looks like screen quality modelling.
ultimately talented and supremely driven....
Wow . 😮.
Bitchin' ...!! Truly, an amazing realization of a Trek idea. BRAVO-!!
D.A.
Very awesome design and respect for the work you put in
Hadn't noticed before that it had a ramp at the back, amazing how that managed to get that much cooler.
That is just,,,, so,,,, damn,,, cool!
I don't know what to say!! This is next level work, far better that television or movie quality. I love Steve unloading his Mustang, and using AMC Javelin font was a stroke of genius. Sorry, for sounding so much like a fanboy, but you blew me away with this one. Can't wait to see you next project.
I absolutely LOVE this shuttle design. I would live in one if I could lol.
Absolutely incredible work! Thanks!
Another brilliant and inspiring Star Trek Star fleet shuttlecraft design and build, Bill.
The Javelin ( is the logo based on the AMC Javelin logotype? ), is, hands down, my all time favorite Star Trek based shuttlecraft design!
Maybe Matt Jefferies, in the day, could have gotten to build this design, instead, as it has less of a curvature at the bow of the craft.
I love your shuttlecraft design so much, I wiish someone would be a full size version of this with a complete “working” interior.
This is a beautiful shuttle design inside and out, Bill!
A real piece of beautiful, yet functional ( fictional ) industrial design !
You need to make available and sell larger paper plans ( blueprints ) of all of your finisshed model designs, Bill.
I do not know if I will/can ever afford to have a model built be you, but I can, definitely, afford to purchase a set of decent sized, quality paper set of your original starship design model plans, for sure!
Thanks again. I am pretty focused on designing and building new models all the time as the commissioned requests keep me very busy. Creating blueprints is on my mind but buried in the priorities.
The scratches the best itch ever.
Ok, So when do we get a working version, full sized.....because I'll need to make room in my garage🙂(Note to self, Call Insurance, ask about asteroid damage waivers).
Astounding!
That's awesome!
Amazing!!
Beautiful, as always!!
"Absolutely no point in entering the Wonderfest 2024 model comp now....."!!!!!! Lol
Hi Bill - I'd heard your name a few times on other scifi channels but this is the first video of yours I've seen - you truly are a master of the craft! Your also no slouch when it comes to 3D modelling which begs the question why the styrene parts to the build?!!
Anyway, excellent work but only one suggestion - how about using swimsuit models for your standees - would help the audience concentrate on the scale comparison- honest!!!!
You do not compete against each other at WonderFest and I will not be entering any future contests. Javelin was built in 2018 and does include some 3D modeled and printed parts - impulse grille and nacelle end caps. This was a design I created by hand and I wanted to craft by hand. The shape is complicated and even today would beyond my skillset as a 3D modeler.
As usual, gorgeous and beautiful work. The process and workup is inspiring and interesting. Have you considered eventually publishing a book with shots of these absolutely stunning models?
I have! Every time I think I’m ready to do a book, I’m already building another ship.
TOS runabout. You could easily convert this to a TMP refit 😎
A beautiful TOS-era shuttle! Admiral, how do you get the sheet styrene to conform to curves like that?
@@fhsreelfilms thanks. The styrene is fairly thin so it bends to the shape of the bulkheads and applied in large panels. Paper templates are made first to find the rough shape. The styrene can also be “pre-curled” by rolling it over the edge of the workbench top.
How long did this take you? Awesome detail
This was a seven month project.
@@TychoYard crikey! Great work
Beautiful concept and model. The only thing I would have done differently is put the head and galley in the back of the cabin. Just to avoid odors common with food prep and evacuation.
This would prohibit the full egress through the aft ramp.
Om the subject of the electronics, do you only us Arduino Nano's or do you use Photons also. Absolutely amazing
I’ve only been using Arduino Pro Minis.
@@TychoYard Thank you. I will look them up. Keep inspiring us novel model builders
I want this to be a real ship.
Best part was seeing the Mustang off loading 😂
I’ll try to add more Mustangs in the future.
@@TychoYard It has a "Corvette descending out of a space shuttle" vibe to it! But seriously, the attention to detail is fantastic. Modeling building was a skill I began to develop when I was younger. Now I'm just building Lego models
I wanna be like Bill when I grow up.
Is it bigger than a class F shuttle?
Yes, Javelin is 44’ long.
Should there be a airlock at the entrance and exit door?
Probably. Have you seen many airlocks on other Trek shuttlecraft?
This could work as a Romulan Shuttle for TOS.
