Hey Matt, thank you for this video. I think it's actually brilliant to see how excited and moved you are by fragrances, no need to apologize for not being "objective". ;) Please keep the videos coming, I really enjoy them. All the best from Berlin, Tom
Thank you for the review. I picked this up today. I enjoy challenging fragrances as well as conventional creations. That said, I've recently dove into Slumberhouse and Zoologist among others. This fragrance is completely unexpected. The opening is very odd but the dry down is unbelievable. Reminds me of Slumberhouse in that regard, especially Baque in that the dry down is so different from the opening it's really like wearing 2 completely different fragrances.
Most challenging fragrance in my collection to wear. More than 1 spray is overkill, some days smells beautiful, other days I can smell pee notes. Work of art indeed, as niche as it gets. Amouage Opus IX comes close after this.
Great review Matt. So far I only smelled pardon and black afgano. I want to buy a new nasomatto but torn because I don't know which to choose : blamage, nudiflorum and narcotic V.
Blamage is a good call and probably the safest option for you , such a lovely fragrance. I think I prefer Nudiflorum but its very divisive, not a blind buy sadly. I'm really happy you enjoyed the video 😃
I have 5 of the range so far, just bought nudiflorum, I'm loving it. I'm sure I get tobacco in it occasionally. What is blamage like, is it too linear? That is next I think
Not only do we look alike but we have the same taste in fragrance... your top ten gentlemans could have been mine & Gaultieri is my favourite perfumer... uncanny 👍
I've found those weird journeys with every one of their scents, love them. Did you get any leather or smokey resin wandering in and out of the drydown as the flower dimishes?
What a review mate 🙂 felt like I was on that journey with u 😜 it sounds very wonderful. I recently tried that Blamage, everytime I wore it something different and ill be honest really still not sure what I smelt 😂 constantly changing. Good to see the hat 😜 defo the only reason we all tune in 😂 na honestly love u explaining really well the unexplainable and crazy. They are works of art 🙂
@@QuestioningScents I've found sometimes these are the ones we start to crave something where we know we can spray on, even tho we've worn it 20 times it's goin to be something new and different again
@@QuestioningScents I don't find it that smoky but yeah a lot of people seem to get that, I think it might be the flowers which are where the similarities are
@@iDayno Its very popular and gets good feedback, it's also regularly described as Beastmode so... .that makes it my kind of frag. Watch this space....eventually 😃
@@QuestioningScents It's pretty good but can get a bit cloying as it's rather sweet, can't really complain for the price though imo, and yeah it is beastmode so I'm sure you'll like it :-)
Matt, you had me shouting "POT POURRI" for nearly a whole minute at the screen in front of me. It was frustrating you couldn't hear me. lol. By the way, this Rich fella?? Is he Lord Lucan's son by any chance? Nice review. We both made it to the end with our sanity intact.
Potpourri is a good call but it's not what I get from this as it in my experience ( which is limited o confess) is not indolic, it smells different. I love the calling out of Rich 😃. He will get a chuckle out of this as you are not the first person to make the Lord Lucan comparison. There are photos of him on out Instagram and he does make an appearance in a video......Search for the Secretions Magnifique follow up video. Glad you liked the video and thanks for taking the time to reply. Do you like this one but the way ? It's amazing !
I've not tried this one. I own Duro which I enjoy and apply sparingly, but because they're extrait de parfums, they can be a bit overwhelming at times. I saw the video with Rich and his introduction made me chuckle, nevermind his reaction to the fragrance. Have a good weekend.
@@QuestioningScents got it today glad it’s not green. Opens like Angel edp without patchouli but with fruit flavoured rock from the seaside and dries down like la yugawham with Tonka. I like it a lot and it does last
I own either a full bottle of or a decant of every one of the Nasomatto perfumes. But this one is too weird even for me. A few of Nasomattos scents start out weird but after it dries down a while, it changes and it’s nicer. Absinth and Baraonda are like that. But this Nudiflorum is the only one I just can’t wear. I get no flowers, no magic, just an awful smell that stays awful all day. And I like weird and unusual perfumes. I really wanted to like this one. Very disappointing
Well I changed my mind about it. I love it now. DONT know what happened but I love it now . I keep sniffing my wrist . It changes and I love that about it.
Loving the reviews. Great to see someone finally reviewing different fragrances, rather than the same content recycled.
Thanks buddy. I tend not to get too involved with all the usual suspects if that makes sense

I've just bought this and I love it, it smells vanilla to me. It's so so beautiful x

Great review Matt. This is my favourite Nasomatto, it's absolutely wild.
Nudiflorum is a great perfume. Pity it is expensive, for the moment. But it is in my Wishlist.

Very much so yes. One of the many changes that happen with this one

Cheers man. These AG perfumes genuinely are some of the hardest reviews to do , such exceptional Frags but really out there in the best possible way

No I havent sadly. It's the really smoky one right ?

This is one you will really like buddy. I'm pretty sure you will be all over this
Oh hi!
I always lovingly refer to Nudiflorum as the weird little sister of the line. 😁
It kind of is in a way , the wierd one no one talks about. She is wierd but she is certainly wonderful
I have my sights set on blamage and bergamusk. Which one would you pick up first if you didn't own them?
Bergamask is an essential perfume to own , Blamage is lovely and in really enjoy it but couldn't be without a bottle of Bergamask 😃
I know what must be done. Cheers!
Is it anything like Beaufort fathom v
No , this is much drier and less green .more leathery and sensual my friend

Hey 👋 glad you like the content 😊
Good review actually
Why thank you 😃
I’ve only sampled Baraonda and think it’s one of the best boozy scents of all time.
Yes Baraonda is a brilliant boozy frag , one of the best. Is that the only Nasomatto you have tried ?
Yep it is indeed. To me is only second to Roja Enigma
