I had no idea they were this adorable at a young age. Had the absolute pleasure to see one adult in the wild and came even closer to some in a sanctuary. Incredible creatures, thank you for the content!
Oh my gosh what a cutie!!! So cool to see her break from her shell and eventually become apart of the show at the zoo😍 love, love, love this zoo you all do such fantastic work..God bless you all
When you told her not to steel the blueberries she was probably thinking "BUT IM HUNGRY!!!" They look like stripped emus when they are young but look like a living dinosaur when they are older
To me this was much more fascinating than crocodiles. I have had the privledge of filming this species in Queensland in 2008 and also in 2016. They are absolutely amazing.
They’re lethal at 8 months. And I do mean lethal. Especially the big one. We bred eight originally, but when she came in she took over the pride and killed all but two of the others. That one... when she looks at you, you can see she's working things out. That's why we have to feed them like this. She had them all attacking the fences when the feeders came.
They are pretty much the most dangerous Bird and one of the largest very scary im curious to see her disposition as an Adult I would guess if she's captive Bred by several Generations her personality may be a little bit more friendly but not to many purposely breed them I think they are only a handful I. The USA that I've heard of anyway im no expert on them but anyway if she was produced by a wild caught mom I would definitely be cautious the will kick you behind and could definitely kill you if they wanted too either way I hope they have great luck with her im looking forward to watching her in their videos since I'm pretty much on the other side of the world lol
when i went to australia zoo in april, i saw little fergo at the croc show. she was so so cute and an absolute joy to watch ! loved the croc show and love all the work australia zoo does. you're all incredible people
i just love how cassowary eggs are green in colour. GREEN!
Green eggs, cute chicks, terrifying adults that want to *perform torture on your wife and family* and their dinosaurs, what’s not to love?
Do you want green eggs and ham?
2:36 Love those eyelashes! 😍

Yay!! You guys finally got those babies !! Babenda and Kevin💜💜💜
She's adorable!
Will she stay friendly as she grows up being so well socialized? Or be a typical scary cassowary?
I'd imagine being around and trained by humans will make her friendly but the staff will always be on alert just in case.

Cassowaries are domesticated by Indigenous Tribes in Papuan New Guinea.
Their pretty docile when conditioned around people
Fergo is so cute! I’d love to see cassowaries
My favourite bird!❤️
You bred raptors?
