Brads dad has always been super clutch in various sports. Even in the beginnings of arcade games his dad would watch others play so that by the time he dropped his first quarter in a machine, he was doing things. I'd like to think that these things translate to Brad. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree as they say.
Brads older brother Brett retired me from video games. As his uncle, it was too much to get my ass kicked in every video game by a then 5 year old. His older brother could've definitely played pro as well. When Brad says he started at 3 or 4...thats no joke.
Loving all of these! Would love to hear from some international pros/coaches too if you get the chance. Very curious about what practice is like for Mindfreak considering every pro other than them in ANZ has retired from Halo since London and moved onto other games like XDefiant. Nugget from Alpha would be cool too cause the MX scene is hard to follow as non-Spanish speaker. Would love to hear about the thought process behind all the roster changes that resulted after Tapping left
These are great ideas. We are recording with SLG this week and are planning on weaving in more international players. Thank you for supporting the Podcast!
I like these pro interviews. HCS is literally the only reason I care or play Halo. No other FPS game is like it. The spawns are definitely a little weird and random sometimes. But as a spectator....HCS is fire for Infinite. Don't know why everyone thinks there needs to be new maps and modes. Like....sure maybe like one new map a season, but it supposed to be an "eSport" that means the maps, modes, and game rules don't change much. That's a good thing. I'd love more of this vod review seeing they're thinking during big games. Disagree on H5 though. The pistol and sound design was just so bad. Not even necessarily the pistol gameplay but just they way it played and felt was just dumb. Can't wait for the Lucid interview
Loved this episode, got good vibes from frosty and loved learning more about him. Particularly love when makowski and eli provide their own insights and jokes!
I LOVE how his fav halo moment is his dad buying him halo2. I’m sure competing as your job and winning multiple events makes it easy to forget the beginnings that got frosty where he’s at now-A mfkn world champ. W answer
Another awesome episode. Love the questions and passion you guys bring to these. This was a completely new perspective of frosty I've never seen before
I gauge my top player list by how it looks when I watch them play. Like Snakebite just looks so consistent and smart when he plays. And then there is Frosty and Renegade who are just ridiculous when it comes to fast movement and precise aiming. Aaaaand then there is Royal 2 who just has such consistent high level aim and strafing. Hard to choose what “the best player” should really exemplify.
What do we have to watch if they GA everything? I’m sorry but as a fan, watching bandit and sniper only is already boring. GA’s and HCS/343 refusing to add weapons, change the maps up more often have really made this game tough to watch.
I hate GA's, but I understand why the pros decided to implement them. Truthfully, Halo should have twice the sandbox it does now. Outside of bringing new weapons to the game, there are plenty of pre existing weapons that would be interesting in Halo Infinite like the Carbine, rail gun, etc.

it's a tough situation...less cheese is always better for the game/pros, but when it limits the overall options available I could see it getting a bit stale for viewers
Frosty is definitely very methodical and analytical when it comes to the game and hes always giving out free game. Just gotta open ur ears.
Now we need Snakebite and Royal 2.. and yes I think they should do the pod together.
🧠🧠🧠
The guy plays honest halo. Any time this guys on stream it’s just an honest POV of fundamentally sound halo.
Frosty is the GOAT
Him and formal man. The early morning brother grinders. Pause

100%! Dad sounds like he understood "meta" before it was a buzzword in gaming nice
The frost man has been my favorite player for a long time, thank you all for this podcast. Keeping the drive to work lively 🔥 ❄️ 🧊 ⛄️
I need Lethul on this badly lol
Frosty the GOAT and the MVP

@@killsinthenight Can't wait for that!
Lfg! Frosty's been my fave pro player for awhile now. 👏👏👏
Great podcast. The analysis and breakdown segments are amazing and please do more

I agree with your take on maps and modes... the current modes just need better tuning. And maybe a slight cosmetic refresh every season?
Sure, don't want too much switch up to establish some consistency but I think 2-3 new maps each year would be the sweet spot
Loved this episode, got good vibes from frosty and loved learning more about him. Particularly love when makowski and eli provide their own insights and jokes!
appreciate you supporting the podcast
hype asffff I've seen every ep so far and already know this gonna be my favorite frosty da goat when he retires remember this.
I've been die hard Halo since the beginning. Tied the Leader is my favorite podcast. Thanks, fellas!
that's awesome to hear, thank you!
Interesting point about the h5 sniper. It definitely was expressed very differently player to player. Could put your own sauce on it
The man is right, Halo 5 is the GOAT
To each their own, I'll always rank h5 towards the bottom of my list but I still thought it was a great game. Only game I truly despised was H4

so cool to hear how all of these legends got their start...thanks for watching!

that clip of toolez at the end 😂
toolez with the rare matchmaking W

True, but that's what makes it so fun to debate
Hey, was wondering where can I see the info about the 2 new map
they've been percolating in the background but since they didnt get added for SLC idk if we'll see them until next season
Tell me you guys are gonna do a pod with aPG
In the hopper fs. Probably after World's
Once you've gone through all the pros, I'd love a few interviews with creators like XLR8, Shyway and Mint Blitz.
after a few more episodes we plan to bring on content creators and even other casters in the next couple months looking forward to those
LFG
Who is this 1:15:11
Lqgend POV. Posted it to his Twitter prior to London
Frosty looks like Ohgeezy nerdy cousin that still smokes.
see if you guys can get some of the OGs in there like Ogres, Walshy, Karma, Ghost, etc

Eli's face after XD XD
Mvp
Splinter Cell cap?

Frosty is definitely not the last montager. Lol. Far from it.
Of the pros I’d definitely say he is. Only one I can think of that consistently makes them still
@@MakowskiHalo I agree with that sentiment. Sucks that no other pros are interested in making them.

Exactly, a two weapon meta is dogshyt from a viewers perspective

ideally you watch better strategic plays and more competitive games and fairer series
