    I purchased my Girsan because the price was so good. I have since ditched my Glock 17 and have switched to the Regard as my battle pistol and my every day carry. The other day I purchased the Beretta M9 A4. I still cannot believe that the $1000 dollar M9 needs upgrades to it to match the trigger of the Regard!

      My understanding is that Girsan is so closed to the 92/M9 family that the LTT trigger in a bag will drop into as well. I might need to jump on this band wagon. I wish they would make compact though.

    Good video and glad yours has been chugging along just fine. I just posted my 2000 review of my Regard MC Sport Gen 4. Much better than many factory Betettas. Great value given the price. The only mild annoyance stemmed from Girsan changing the distance between grips screws and changing the specs of the locking block (which as you noted was for a reason). But most parts are still interchangeable.

    I just bought the Girsan Regard MC BX with a Dark Earth finish.
    The gun seems awesome and it shoots great! I have only run about a little over a box of ammo through it so far. But i have noticed that certain areas on the gun already have wear spots. Spots where the paint has already started chipping. They are all wear spots, so that is understandable. I am just curious as to how well everyone elses finish has held up after shooting alot of rounds through it? Will the finish hold up over time?

    • @CloverTac
      @CloverTac  Год назад +1

      i have no wear on mine i would not consider normal given the circumstances. finishes are a big problem now days across all sorts of manufacturers. in the old days you had bluing/parkerizing (various forms), stainless. anodizing and plated (say nickle plated). those are all much more robust methods of finish than the application of "paints" that you see now days. if you want a variety of cool colors, just something that you sorta have to deal with i guess at some point.

      84s are nothing but the truth as far as 380s go .IMHO. Hope to find a good deal on a surplus one some day. Love my plain 81(not a BB or any of those variants) 100% reliable with recommend 71 gr.ball. beautiful condition,dealers choice (don’t pay extra for hand pick .you get what they grab & put in the box I think)+ came with brand new looking beretta grips swapped them out for red&black LOK thin checkereds. Same set going on 84 when I find one. I know 80(70s series.?.technically I have heard.??.)a 32 & all about stopping power scenarios. Bears on meth ,PCP ect. . I have all the what if’s bouncing around in my scull too….just like most. in my opinion I have 2 words that trump all that. Shot placement. I carry my 32 some & am ok with it. That’s just me. S/D decock would be better. Don’t care fir safeties that can & do switch themselves on so if you have one that you carry you need to train like safety is on. . Like frame mounted decok the most. If I have a choice that’s it. This brand has some high value 1911s im hearing.I want 1st 1911 & going Clasic GI 5” style. As far as carrying. Shooting all sorts of guns is fun but having 1 Cary gun or at least the same design & function is good. Bad stuff happens fast. Don’t have time for fiddling around with extra switches ect. Everything same place ,same stuff. Takem easy
