I live in America where the Peugeot currently is not sold. I like auto service videos like your from car brands not sold in the U.S. Automotive news articles are saying Peugeot plans on returning to America now that Fiat Chrysler has merged with them. Kudos to your command of the English language which makes your videos easier to follow in English speaking countries.
"..just press this yellow thing.." to release the hose, that tip has probably saved me 10 mins of frustration working that out myself! thanks for the tip.
Such a weird configuration for spark plugs. Thanks man I was about ready to get the car jacked to see it from other angles. Turns out it's a 2 minute job just like any other car
Done this many times before but it helps so much to see all the bolt sizes and things you need to do to save a lot of frustration. Going to have to check if one of my valve stem seals is leaking oil onto a plug, having trouble starting the car after it sits for a few hours. At least the stem seals are really simple on a 206, no hydraulic lifters and only 8 valves so it should be doable in an afternoon
Thanks a million Sir for the demonstration of putting the plugs into my Peugeot 206 Cc. . Few day ago someone charged me a fortune. Maybe it's because I do not have knowledge on cars as I am a woman. Madame Sibongile in South Africa
Ive got the same model and its flashing the engine light on the dash and the sound isn't normal at all sometimes it fails to pull especially on steep roads and the vibrations becomes intense could the Los of power is a result of faulty plugs please help i cant really afford to take my car to the dealership
Hey pal, i love your videos. You rock!! Can i ask you something?. Could you please make a video about replacing the timing belt and water pump of this car (peugeot 206)? Thansk!
@@fab-b9818 Thanks for replying, pal... English or french it will be alright but please!!!.... keep on doing more videos. Peugeot 206 is such a great car.
Thx mate. Just started seriously caring about my car and realised i can save serious money by learning about how it works and doing some of the stuff alone. :D
Where do you live ? In France there are a lot of auto parts web sites where you just enter your car details and it gives you all the spare parts you need, so it's no hastle to choose. I always do that and very rarely receive a wrong part. Otherwise you can undo one of the old spark plugs to get the ref.

Just changed my plugs on my 206 thx dude 👍. my plugs were 14mm on my 2005 1.4 petrol took me 15 mins. ☺
Great, tahnks for the precisions 😉.
Thanks! FYI it is the same for early peugeot 207 models with KFV / TU3A engine, you can write it in description.
I got one myself too
Thank you. Good explanation. I will try it myself this afternoon.
Thank you for the video. Very helpful. Will attempt to do mine this weekend
Thanks brother, quite helpful. I was looking for such a video! Appreciated!
My pleasure, glad it helped 😉 !
Thank you. Very helpful and well explained.
Hi, thank you for the great tutorials. Just a question: should I unplug the battery priorly changing the spark plugs?
My pleasure ! No you don't need to, just keep the key in your pocket ;¬).
Thanks for this video. I have to do this at the weekend. You helped me a lot!
No worries, happy to help out ;¬) !
thanks!! been looking for a good video on this as I have the same car!!
My pleasure :). I have a few other videos on that car if you need ;).
Merci monsieur, concise and easy to follow instructions.
De rien ;¬) ! Glad you found it clear.

Hi, could be many things but the plugs are a good place to start. Then the ignition coil, fuel filter, O2 sensor, catalyst converter... good luck !
No silicone spray and grease? It will be easy to remove on the next change
Thanks! Can you tell me where are the spark plugs wires?
They're in that block with the rubber tubes. That's what threw me off when I first looked.
Please guide on dashboard lights
Great video 👍👍👍👍👍

Hi, thanks 😉 !
Sorry it wasn't my car so I won't be able to make a video on that 😕.
@@fab-b9818 Thanks for replying pal!. Are you planning to do more videos? Your videos helped me a lot!
My main channel is in french and takes most of my time so don't know when I'll be able to do more in english, even if I would like to...

Here's my french playlist for 206 if it can help you for something ruclips.net/p/PL5rSil1Dj0aDpEC_A9hmgYgbosraMe0n8 😉
Did you ever change fuel filter? I ask because it's in fuel tank with fuel pump...
Hi, no, not yet. I think a clean up would be enough, no need to replace it.
how do you call the black conducts/hose that you plug back at the end after replacing the spark ?? i broke mine and can't seem to find them.
Hi, I think it's the breather hose. See if you can find what you're looking for with that.
Don’t need to clean it inside before putting the new plugs ?
No, just make sure not to make things fall in. You can clean the area before getting the plugs out though.
Any advice for complete loss of power on a 206?
Maybe the ignition coil.
no need to disconnect the battery minus before?
No 😉
thanks man,very vey helpfull!!
+bigtuga100 No worries ! Glad to help 😉.
Try a torque ratchet do to head damage
Try to advertise the replacement part name and model
Ηi there!
How to know what spark plug to buy? I also have a peugeot 206 :)
Hi, the best thing to be sure is to take one out but otherwise with your chassis number and engine size you should find the right parts ;¬).
Thx mate. Just started seriously caring about my car and realised i can save serious money by learning about how it works and doing some of the stuff alone. :D
No worries ;¬). You sure can save a lot of money and that's the point of my channel :¬) !
perfect video ,thaks was great
Thanks, cool 😉.
what about that spark plug infront of the oil tank how do u repace that
Hi, it's not a spark plug but the Oxygen sensor ;¬).
Hey man, I managed to break the sensor on mine, tore the metal straight out. Not sure what to do now
Hi, do you mean the first sensor I took off ? If it's that one I dont think the position really matters, just try an fix it somewhere safely.
Is it a sensor? What does it do?
@@mogazz interference filter
another great video, thx u bro :D
Thanks a lot, you're welcome !
what would be the spark plug gap on a 1.1?
Hi, honestly I don't know, I buy the plugs already set for the car so I have never changed the gap...
OK cool I just need to find out what spark plugs it has then I should be good to go, Iv been rebuilding the engine
