  • Hey guys, back again with the third installment of the series covering Snap Rolls. I don't have much to say about them, but I went ahead and covered the basics and how to perform them. Be sure to follow the PFT series here. www.3drcforums....

Excellent video Brian. 99% of videos, articles, instructors merely tell people what the plane is supposed to do, but offer almost no proactive "how to" information as you did in this video. Good job :)

Been thinking of starting imac and this was great. Do you know if the great planes 50 with a 50cc movs engine in it would be a good plane for iMac.

i know this is an old video but this is NOT a SNAP ROLL!
you clearly using ailerons to roll...
a snap roll is an autorotation because you stalled one wing while the other still has lift... roll!
controll surfaces used: elevator and yaw at same time at full....
    according to scott stoops

Just wanted to let you know that it was a little unclear to me as to what a snap roll actually is. Didn't occur to me what positive and negative meant until I watched your controller and realized that you were going with or against the ailerons, at which point it made sense to me. Your commentary wasn't very clear, however
