The Perks of being a Wallflower. One of the best books I've read and i wish that i had picked it up in high school because for me, Charlie is very relatable and the struggles he goes through with his mental health hit home on so many levels as even to this day I still struggle with my mental health.

so amazing to hear how you connected with the story and how it made you feel seen -- that's what reading is all about! And why it's so important to stand up against book bans and challenges. Appreciate this comment!

Lets say for exemple 1984 or the main keimpf. Reading those books can teach us signs of totalirian ditactorships, early on. And this is just one exemple. We are now in times that people are more angry and less informed. And that is really dangerous. Thats what happened in 1932 in germany politics

I like the purple dress lady. She didn't use this video as a platform to promote her woke agenda.

I always find it odd how these videos always only focus on one side. The title is "Why are people banning books?", but the content is why is it bad that southern states are limiting young people's access to books. The left hates books that disagree with them just as much as the right, they just do it in a different way. Banning books needs to stop, whether it's in school libraries or people banning books because they disagree with the politics presented. Feels like a disingenuous video.

When I asked for ads in "Books & Literature" I was hoping to get actual book recommendations and trailers, not leftist activism 😒
