I love Liberia food oh! My wife is from there and she can cook her butt off! Her mom is a guru too!! Potato leaves, peanut butter soup, and pepper soup are amazing!
I see that the red oil you are using is not that beautiful thick authentic red palm oil. Does it taste just as good? I ran out and bought some because I see that brand at the Asian store! Don't know which other brand to get or where to order authentic red oil from?
Eva Keys I personally like to Partially Cook my Meat before actually cooking it and adding seasonings. I don't use the water i use to parboil my meat as its just partially cooked. It's just a personal preference.
This soup is delicious thanks for sharing your video
I like that you didn't use too many different meats in this dish. It came out wonderfully

I have never seen ginger added to liberian soups.
Neither have I.
why is there foil on the stove?
fabulositybabe88 less work if there is spill while cooking. It helps a lot in protecting the stove from hard stains as well.
Luqisha Davis Can you list all the spices & the seasonings in the video at 0:22? because I can't see the name of it

Your food always looks tasty, just be careful! Too much pepper will cause you to get stomach ulcers later in life.
