Gyomei, the strongest hashira is finally here. Cannot wait to see how this man fights, the animation is gonna be top tier!

The Stone Hashira is the Strongest Hashira in this current generation and the other Hashira sees Gyomei as their leader and dare not to act up around him.
They respect Kagaya of course but for On field combat Gyomei tells everyone what to do.
Stone Breathing is incredibly hard to learn and there are not a lot Stone Hashiras having successors because the style is so difficult to understand.
Flame Breathing is locked behind because it’s a family tradition style and no outsiders can learn it.
Water Breathing is too easy to learn and use, literally anyone can do it (except genya because bro can’t breathe correctly😂)
Wind Breathing is so chaotic of a style not many people have talent for it.
Thunder Breathing focuses on your leg muscles in short never miss Leg Day. Tengen actually tried learning Thunder Breathing but it turns he sucked at it and created a offshoot of it called Sound Breathing, lacing the dual cleavers with gunpowder and carries bombs to kill demons
in addition i think the fanbook mentioned that wind breathing also needs a lot of lower body strength(likehow thunder breathing also uses a lot of lower body strength). explains why sanemi does a lot of flips and spins.

Also Mitsuri was Rengoku's tsukugo and started by learning flame breathing, but since her talents lied more in the flexible part of battles she created her own Love Breathing which could be said to be a more flexible flame breathing
