Back in 2009 he played a bunch of New Leaves tracks with a full band. I think it was part of a release show for the album??? I don't think they got the chance to practice too much; there's some very rough moments haha. But, a lot of the really gorgeous moments are still there. That's part of what I love about Owen; his studio arrangements are stunning but so many of his fuller songs have equally stunning solo acoustic arrangements when he plays them live.
Oh ok, cool! Well, even if just one man with his guitar has some charm, I think I would rather choose Owen with full band accompanying if I had the choice. But I obviously know that it's hard to find touring musicians, and it costs money.
