What follows from simulation theory is nothing new actually; either the simulation is pre-determined and that just comes down to regular determinism that has been around for ages or there is free will in the simulation, like we can steer ourselves. Whether we live in a simulation has no implications that are not already previously considered (even the 'realness of our world' has been doubted at least since ancient greece but probably long before that)

aight bro follow the logic, can you imagine that in our world we can make a game so realistic its exactly like our world (a perfect simulation), if you can then it means that in that simulation, you can make another simulation. and then in that simulation, you can make another, and again and again forever. it means that once 1 simulation can be made, then an infinite number can be made. so that means the chances that our world is the first one to ever make a simulation, is 1/infinity, which is equal to 0. so therefore if we can make 1 simulation, we basically guarantee that we are already in a simulation. thats what i was yapping about.

im not saying the argument is true because its not proven false, im saying the conclusion is true if the premises are true, and the premises cannot be guaranteed to be true, but it seems plausible. so im not saying we live in a simulation, but if we can make one (which is something we will never know until it happens), then we do.
