Loco Griddle ERRF

  • UPDATE: What I did in this video made things better for a short time and then it started doing the same thing. I went back-and-forth with their support person and they said "I have the same griddle, you just have to keep shaking the wires". I sent it back and got my money back. Great concept, great looking griddle. Poor execution and worse support. That's as positive as I can be about that.
First of all I love this griddle however new out of the box I had to do a little work to get it functioning properly.
My left two burners would show an errf error and then shutdown.
I made the tweak mentioned in the video and the griddle seems to be working fine.
This is propane gas and I’m NOT a specialist so you do you, but this is how I addressed the ERRF problem.
    Time to do some cooking!

July 1st 2024 and this company still doesn't know how to fix their problem. They told me the same "move the ignitor" BS and that didn't work either. Thanks for making this video, people at loco should see it and train their guys.

Just assembled the griddle - love the look and technology.
I have the same problem with the middle burner
The company is no help - they know of the problem and keep selling the units.
I'll try what is shown here and report the results
    thanks for this youtube

I wanted to take a minute to thank you for putting this information out. I was getting the exact same error message on my middle burner and making the same sdjustment seems to have fixed the problem. Easy peasy. Thank again.

I can confirm this worked perfectly for me as well! The instruction manual talks about carbon build up on the sensor as an issue and it seems of the sensor isn’t positioned properly than this is the issue. Took less than 5 mins to pull top off and check all sensors. Assuming no more issues, it’s actually a nice grill

Did you have to move the ignitor too

Ran into this issue day 1 once I had everything put together on one burner, the right side. Had to take everything apart, flip the burner assembly over, and found the thermocouple wire for that burner was not plugged in, from the factory that way. Plugged it in, put everything back together. Working fine now.

I'm having the same issue, however, mine is a 2 burner. I've adjusted multiple times. No luck :( No gas leaks. Guess I'll keep trying.
EDIT: Believe it or not, right after I posted this I went to try again, and noticed through a crack that one of the wires was disconnected. Problem fixed!

Flat rock 100%. The Traeger is amazing. The LOCO is junk.
