    Nice one! 😎
    I work alone and I make sure to rinse the panels facing the Sun last and dry them right away. After the glass, that is.
    That way the water stays on those hot surfaces the shortest amount of time and I rarely get water spots.
    That works for me at 57 degrees North but may not work for everyone.

      Hi Phil. Can you recommend a god cleaning solution for cleaning seat/shoulder/lap belts? The color is tan. Thanks

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 года назад +1

      Seatbelts are very difficult to clean and they don’t always come out that great. I usually just use the same cleaners as everything else. But after doing some research over saturating seatbelts can actually degrade the material and it could be a liability/safety issue for customers. I lightly clean them and if they don’t clean up I don’t go any further.

      Yeah it does depend on what water you’re dealing with. Have you tried using ONR in your shampoo to help with water spots?
      Also did machine applying protection like a wax or sealant help remove those fresh water spots? Sometimes I do get spots but since they are fresh they come right off when machine applying protection.

      @@MirandaDetailing I have not, but I just saw it suggested in the comments and I am going to try it. Love ONR by itself so I'm honestly excited to give it a go!

      @miranda detailing... I am not a fan of ONR used it and didn’t like it. I have tried many other rinseless wash Solutions and the water is way to hard. Plus direct sunlight in Florida at 95 degrees the water evaporate so fast.

    • @jamest7485
      @jamest7485 3 года назад +1

      @@barrycook8116 I have the same issue. Here are some tips: I use distilled water, purchased at any grocery store, and mix that in a spray bottle with ONR. Zero water spots.
      I also have a filter on my shower head. So I use a 5gal bucket with a screw top lid and fill it up using the filtered shower head. It's not perfect, but it does reduce water spots about 90%. You could also fill the bucket with distilled water but it would cost about 5 bucks to fill the bucket so not sure if its worth it.
      ONR in direct sunlight does dry super fast. But using distilled water I don't get spots, just streaking. However this can be easily corrected by spraying some more ONR on the streaks. Hope this helps.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 года назад +1

      Well when mobile you just have to deal with things like that. But unless we are polishing that’s not an issue. We work quickly and if it’s super dusty then we can just use the air compressor to blow of some dust. Honestly we never have a problem with blowing dust. As you can see the paint is not in perfect condition and this is a farm vehicle. So any potential marring isn’t even a concern here. If this was a fancy sports vehicle that would be different....but then again we wouldn’t detail an expensive vehicle in conditions like this, unless again the owner didn’t care. 😎👍🏼

      Hi! I forgot to mention that RV filter, I used to use one, but then I found it didn't make a difference for us. But that's awesome that it DOES actually work for you to help with water spots! I have to say the SPTA cordless is awesome. Batteries are not difficult to come by anymore, I bought these amzn.to/2NmR4qE and this charger amzn.to/374SmxU. You can buy either the official Makita Batteries or the after-market ones, its your choice. But I haven't had any problems with the aftermarket ones, Battery life is dependant on how much usage at different speeds. If you multiple batteries and chargers like we do, I never worry about it anymore.
