Using a lawn roller on the pasture - seeding a new pasture

We've taken down a bunch of blackberries, mowed down what was left, tilled up the pasture and spread a bunch of seed. I'm gonna take this old drum roller and see if it'll push the seed into the seed bed. Figure the ATV will pull it?

Looking forward to seeing the result. I have about 1.5 acres of pasture to renovate, too. Still too wet for my tractor.

We're crossing our fingers! The birds haven't descended on the fields, we've been getting decent rain, but not anything torrential. It's been getting pretty chilly at night, though, so I hope that doesn't end-up being a problem!
