Peter, When you make that transition movement with the lower body in the downswing, do you try to post up right away to clear the hips and make room for the arms? I find I hit blocks to the right and wonder if there may be too much slide. Thanks
Yes, the pressure should shift very early in the downswing. If you are hitting blocks, it’s likely your arms are trailing too much. If your arms are beside your body in your downswing it can easily cause the club to be open at impact. They should be more in front.
Yes. If you put a ball (approx soccer ball size) between your upper arms, so it is also in contact with your chest. You’ll only be able to make short swings without the ball falling out. This will give you the feeling.
