the TL have bigger amp it use dual tpa 3128D2 60w @mono 30w @ stereo idk why The TL model use 2 of them in mono but that's allot of power... idk about the ND model amp cus it's use different pcb... and no one fully open yet... 😁
I have charge 5 TL and ND, TL is louder than the ND
ND is much better in bass but muffled sounds.
TL is clear in sounds and deep bass.

Try to change the main speakers in places, will affect the sound or not, and in general what will look like

It is NOT the same. TT,TL,NT made in vietnam. The ND is from china.
I tried TL and ND in the shop, but TL sounded louder and also the bass came up deeper. While ND had more of a different type of bass, like more direct.

The colours dont always have the same models inside. I bought a blue charge 5 then seem your videos was thinking a TL version would turn up but it's a ND most blue ones I have seen on utube are TL. 🤪 best off going into the shop if possible and looking under box looking at the serial number get the one you want.because the colour of the speeker doesn't always have the same model inside.MUCH LOVE 👍

Have you noticed more excursion on the TL? Speakers with “longer” / “deeper” magnets (from my experience) tend to have more excursion.
Excursion is similar on both but looks like the ND is bit stronger

I think yes not 100% sure i have bother models had the ND model First then the TL bother black models didn't know tel i fount out TL vs ND then looked it up. I thing the TL model has longer battery du to the less bass only slightly weard that there differend tho .

I can't talk much on sound since I don't have an ND Charge 5 but the ND one has better build quality and waterproofing materials from what I've heard
According to me both speakers are too good as long as you'll only buy one of them.. I mean like if you find that the speaker you bought is TL you won't know how the ND sounds and even if you have the ND sound you won't know how the TL sounds which makes them both good it doesn't matter which one you go for or find because at the end of the day you'll be exposed to the speaker you'll buy.
In the end of the day jbl should just make them all the same
You can choose ND or TL, it is printed on the serial no. Like flip series it has GG or TL, for sound quality GG much better.

In the serial number or through JBL app?
So there are two ways of finding the model number. In the serial number on the box that it came in there will be barcodes on the bottom of it and next to one of them it will have 2 letters in capital letters SN (serial number) then the first two letters after that in capitals is the model of the speaker which will either be GG or TL.

From my experience TT version has bass that goes deeper, the highs and mids are more pronounced and just overall sounds richer to my ears. But the NT version has better build materials and waterproofing

@@harvydabu3950 im sure you must be referring to the suddenly different coating/material right on top of certain drivers for either their newer models or revised versions, i wont get into the specifics or id have to write a novel but, in simple terms:
the ND xtreme 3 has paper cones with some kind of coating that has better water protection compared to the GG counterpart
then the charge 4 GT version (revised GG) is a plastic cone with that same exact coating i mentioned above (weird, but maybe its for the sake of performance or just overall upgrades)

I have a blue one and in my surprise it's ND version. I thought I can get the T.L version if I choose the blue one. Anyway love it very much.
I order 2 black JBL charge 5 and it come with one TL and one ND, and I can feel the ND version is heavy and longer than n TL and the bass is stronger than TL as well
