I would suggest that the Supposed DDos attack was a result of individuals and organizations attempting to check the Inside out skins when the lawsuit was announced, after which they took the site offline to remove the offending designs.
@@matthew78917 Have you no shame? And with Sony taking back content that people have paid for, what are you suggesting? A strong VPN and some dependable trackers?? Yo-ho. Edit: Christ this was a joke.
Casetify needs to say "HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT" & try and get back to regular business again. Dragging a crime like this through the courts will only give them another 2 years of bad press.
I doubt it was an actual ddos attack but rather just a massive amount of traffic visiting their site after Zacks video. I've witnessed websites go down when a certain Twitch streamer talks about them and their viewers try to view the website and that's with only around 20,000 viewers. Zack's video would have reached a lot more people than that.
I’d guess that the majority of their sales were coming from third party retailers like Amazon or Apple Stores, and therefore they never had any problem with their potato servers setup. Now JRE and iFixit both accused them for copyright infringement and piqued everyone’s interest, their traffic suddenly skyrocketed exponentially and mistaken a long overdue stress test for a DDoS.
I don't get why all these news outlets and blog articles say "allegedly stole the designs". What do you mean, allegedly? It's a striaght up, proven and painfully obvious FACT that they stole the designs!
likes others have said its all legal terminology, always allegedly until the court has a ruling, even when there is undeniable proof. by saying something is certain like the guy above me can sue for further defamation/slander
Mostly legal reasons If you write an article declaring it a criminal, you might be flagged as false news reporter by govt, court or just straight up news agencies. Internet cannot give a judgement.
Casetify is unbelievably expensive and yet they’re unoriginal I mean, that’s a crime in itself I like dbrand and for some custom cases, I actually like skinit
I commented this on the JRE video and also gonna do it here... They just gonna fire an employee and call it a day. Say stuff that it went under their radar n shit like that.
JerryRigEverything is the final boss you have to face if you are specifically into stealing anything related to a phone and implement it into your brand. No cheatcodes can help you..
Dear sir - have a subscribe and a few wh on all videos :) I like your video with an excellent structure and you have a clear good voice but you should talk a lot slower and use emphasis pauses once you manage slower speaking (you could also reduce the video speed). I train professional tourguides and talking too fast is usually the most common issue but also the first to get resolved. Good job and good luck :)
you are allowed to make a similar product... since you can still add small changes... like the easter eggs or as i call it watermarks from jerryrigeverything
At least CASETiFY actually innovated by printing directly onto a case rather than forcing the user to install a decal onto an included case. dbrand really thinks their the shit and you guys still support them and their trashy antics
Am kinda lost here. Isn't Jerry or Casetify both utilizing the proprietary structure/design of the actual smartphone manufacturer? Thus, the question arises: who should file a lawsuit against whom?

Man would be a shame if I told the internet archive to crawl it before they could take it down... Oh wait... I did

Since they’re such a big company we shouldn’t rule out the possibility they did it to themselves
@@matthew78917good man, I need to do this more!
Interestingly during the chaos they also removed an x ray design that ifixit would later find out was one of their images
Casetify keeps digging themselves a hole lol. Pathetic, sad and corrupt company. I hope they get what they deserve.
Same - but if history is any indication, I doubt it.
"Nice work casetify, I'll see you in court." The golden quote
Bet its not even a DDoS, it's probably their shitty server got overwhelmed by all the traffic that coming to check out the stolen product.
😂
That sounds more reasonable than their competitors DDoSing them imo.
Casetify needs to say "HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT" & try and get back to regular business again. Dragging a crime like this through the courts will only give them another 2 years of bad press.
noo - casetify need to GO OUT OF BUSINESS.
I love how you can see the community notes

Yeah Linus tech tips accidentally killed frameworks website after making a review of it

They say allegedly so that they don't get dragged to court themselves for *possible* misrepresentation and damage to reputation.
until its proven in court that they stole the designs (which will be very easy) they can sue you and others for slander or something alike

you almost flew away in this video 😆
bro the amount of comments telling me this XD I never realized I was so flappy when I talked.
The amount of times Drew contradicted himself ._.
Ikr xD
STOP DDDOSING US ... I wasn't but now maybe i shall
I commented this on the JRE video and also gonna do it here... They just gonna fire an employee and call it a day. Say stuff that it went under their radar n shit like that.
Yup
What was it they said? " bastion of originality?" I almost choked on my food 💀 😭
It's a Chinese company, they probably told their twitter CM guy to deal with it one way or another and nothing will happen in the end.
Karen act. Play victim🤣
Who buys that expensive trash? I brought casetify ages ago and it is not sturdy. The fancy print fades away easily.
Nice video, I'm subbing, and excited to look at what your channel will look in the future
Lmao the casetify brand name originality part is just hilarious
I hope youtubers like Stephanie Soo no longer work with this bastard company.
I just got to say it... the dumpster behind MC Donnalds is a MC Dumpster 🙂 (Thanks, i feel better now!)
great video you deserve more subs man!
Thank you!
Agreed! Have a sub 👍
playing victim is the META
Incredible video! You deserve more subscribers.
what about SPIGEN ? they have similar cases also, Zero One series
JerryRigEverything is the final boss you have to face if you are specifically into stealing anything related to a phone and implement it into your brand. No cheatcodes can help you..
Great video man!
Mess with lex luthor, you get the kryptonite blade
You do know ChatGPT wrote their statement
this is why i never buy casetify cases, they have zero originality in them
Muy buen video bro! Espero que Zack gané la demanda y Casetify tenga su merecido!
Why the big S ?
Only 300 subscribers??????? I thought you had several thousand subscribers with the video quality.
One day, friend... One day...
Bravo 4 min and 18 sec of rosting casitify
"Bastion of originality" 🙄
Such a cringe statement and obviously untrue.
Inside out is also a Disney movie lol, ‘originality ‘😂
Maybe they need to be banned from Amazon.
Copiestify
China, plagiarism, excuses, money. It never ceases to amaze me how it's always tied together.
Casetify is from Hong Kong.
those products' reliabilities are even worse than from Temu.
Because they actually produce stuff?
Dang you cooked them alive.
they werent DDoS'd it was just all the traffic from the video to check for themselves, they are just trying to move opinions
investing 10,000 hours to create cell phone cases... 😂😂The Chinese were already selling this garbage 15 years ago! 😅😅

Casetiy say they based in Hong Kong.....but A Hong Konger like me think Casetify possibly they are China Company.....
my question is how tf do you make a case thats supposed to look like the inside of the phone you're using it on look different?
dbrand and JRE and easter eggs like "glass is glass and glass breaks" which were identified on the Casetify cases.
@@TAmzid2872 ah gotcha.
Yeah the crime isn’t that they also did an interior design case, anyone can but its that they stole the work
jerryrigeverything even said he welcomes competition if they would of just tore a phone down themselves for photos

Trying too hard with the casetify name roast. Sounds like you're trying to be quirky but it's really not that smart.
At least CASETiFY actually innovated by printing directly onto a case rather than forcing the user to install a decal onto an included case. dbrand really thinks their the shit and you guys still support them and their trashy antics
the actual lifespan of their products will likely have you never want another once you bought one from them.
aaa...Israel SOP module. Do eff up thing, cry eff up as victim..shesshh
Look and talk like a thief.
Reaching to far seem super needy

Watch the video of Jerry talking about that...AND later come back
just shut down already casetify
You shouldn't DDoS as it's illegal. You'd actually be worse than Casetify.
