    I really appreciate your time and effort doing all these videos but I'm confused and I 'd like to point out some things.
    First of all, you 're saying Osram is on top and Philips is on the bottom and you give us a conclusion that Philips is whiter and brighter. I may be wrong but from my point view, it's exactly the opposite. Replying to a guy asking which one is whiter, you 're saying that it's the Philips and the fact you can't really tell, it's because there is no way to have exactly the same conditions in video recording but if this is so.......then what's the point of the recording after all? Moreover, having seen many of yr videos, I think it 'd be better to have fully synchronized videos. The eye should be able to clearly identify the differences.

    • @m3rovingian
      @m3rovingian  4 года назад +3

      You gotta realize it you cannot have a camera record exactly the same as the eye can see. you can expect all the bulbs to look a bit colder than in reality in all my videos.
      The point of recording, aside for proofing I actually tested the bulbs and know what I am talking about, it's to show you what you can expect.
      You also have to give me a bit of credit and trust me after testing them. the Lasers ar in the warmer light category, but still colder than standard bulbs.
      WhiteVision are colder than Lasers and colder than all the other halogens in the same line, like XtremeVision, Racingvision, or Osram Night Breaker Unlimited. It's simply the way things are.

      @@m3rovingian Hi ,This is the second video of yours that I am watching.I rarely comment !The first one I saw was the Philips X-xtreme vision vs white vision .I tend to share the feedback by Dali9803 in that its the top video that looks whiter ,as also did in the other video .
      I am only commenting to say that ,I am 100% sure that everyone that sees your videos gives you a lot of credit and kudos,well done for taking so much of your time to share your experience in helping us choose a light bulb .Think even dali9803 comment ,you should take as a compliment and all the work you put into your videos is excelent and you should take the "constructive comments" as a way to make your videos even better.
      From my desktop view I too see the top video whiters when one would expect it to be whiter!It could be because the lamps in the top video are brighter and therefore seem white when filmed ,since looking at the headlights from the front of the car ,its the lower video that looks whiter.
      Again,what dali0803 says about the sync of the top and bottom videos ,he is correct but its always better said than done and you have explained like a boss.
      Keep up the good work ,,Cheers

      @@powerspeedutube Thank you for your feed-back. Yes, it must be from the amount of light of XV the camera recorded it like that. They are not bad bulbs, it's just that in reality their warmer light gave me a lesser feeling of visibility. that's why I recommended WV all the time. Also the 1 year lifespan of XV was a downside, while WV lasts about 2 without a problem. You have to understand it's literally impossible to record exactly like in reality but that's why I'm here to answer to all the questions and write my opinions after seeing them with my own eyes and use them for quite some time. Some more, until they went out some less, before the burn out time, due to the numerous reviews I had to make over the time. It's just that when you see a person doesn't regard your information and only judges you after the videos and maybe sometimes calls you even a fake, then you start to have enough of it. :)
      I like the constructive disapproval as long as it is pertinent. All the best! :)

    i've gotten the NB Laser now and am loving the brightness but it's still a tad bit warm for me..i know, halogens...do you think it's worth making the switch to the Whitevision for that extra whiteness?

    • @m3rovingian
      @m3rovingian  8 лет назад +3

      Personally I would stick to the OSRAM Lasers. WhiteVision will only give you the impression of better visibility, on the close range, due to the higher kelvin, but otherwise they will not be as bright; also after 6 months you'll see they won't be as "white" as they we're when you first bought them. That was my experience with WhiteVision. Otherwise, they are one of my favorite halogens. Keep the LASERS, you'll see great at night.

    • @DChow-dp6lv
      @DChow-dp6lv 8 лет назад

      The WhiteVisions fade and aren't as white after only 6months? That's disappointing. (Also, Powerbulbs will only warranty the NB Lasers for 6months, instead of 12)

    • @m3rovingian
      @m3rovingian  8 лет назад +1

      Yeah, that was my experience with WhiteVision. Still they are my favorite, out of all the halogens I tested. Regarding the half warranty period is due to the fact OSRAM increased by a bit the brightness of the NB Laser, compared to the NB Unlimited. That affects the lifespan and no dealer can offer more. Try to use them as less as possible on the daytime, on sunny weather inside the town limits, if you don't have to. Also the condition of the roads you drive on affects their lifespan.

    • @m3rovingian
      @m3rovingian  8 лет назад +1

      Yeah. They are superior in brightness compared to WhiteVision. Only when it comes to the color temperature the WhiteVision have just a slight colder feel, when looking at the headlamp, but otherwise, the OSRAM NB Laser offer a better visibility and make you see the road-signs and lines on the ground better.

      Salut. Eu cred ca vei fi mai multumit de WhiteVision, cel putin in apropiere lumina mult mai rece iti va da o senzatie de vizibilitate mult mai buna. Eu am observat diferenta in special cand le-am pus si pe faza lunga. Chiar daca spun ca au doar 60% mai multa lumina, mie mi-au placut mai mult. Sper sa fie aceeasi situatie si in cazul tau. Pe vreme nefavorabila se vad de asemenea bine. Am venit o data de la Bucuresti fara sa simt nevoia de a aprinde faza lunga. important e sa le reglezi sa bata bine.

    salut, eu inca am white vision de anul trecut de la black friday si vad bine, dar parca bat putin in asfalt si nu stiu cum sa le ridic sa vada mai lung...dar asta e alta...dintre toate cele aparute in ultima vreme (becuri) testate de tine, care iti par cele mai ok? tot la white vision ramai?

    • @m3rovingian
      @m3rovingian  7 лет назад +1

      Salut. Ma bucur ca inca te tin. Te poti duce la un service sa ti le ridice mai mult. Dintre cele aparute recent, Philips RacingVision si Osram NB Laser in principiu, ambele arata la fel. Problema e ca au durata de viata injumatatita. Mi s-a ars un Philips RacingVision dupa 6 luni. Acum am revenit la Philips WhiteVision. Le-am folosit deja 1 an si le-am tinut in ambalaj in rastimpul in care am testat alte becuri. Sunt preferatele mele. Am fost si la drum lung si s-au vazut perfect. Cele noi aparute nu sunt altceva decat un rebranding de la XV +130% si NB Unlimited, insa le-au facut sa arda la o temperatura mai inalta ca sa fie mai stralucitoare, cu putin, si din cauza asta se ard asa de repede. Eu zic ca nu merita. Ramai la Whitevision si nu-ti va parea rau. Le prefer si pe faza lunga. Se poate vedea diferenta de lumina putin mai alba, decat la XV, RacingVision sau seria NB de la Osram.

    night breaker looks very good
    but has a shorter life span
    is that correct?

    • @m3rovingian
      @m3rovingian  7 лет назад +1

      If we take into consideration the specs, then yes, their lifespan is not as good like the previous gen of NB Unlimited. but you can increase their time if you only use them at night or when the daytime weather conditions require you to turn them on. Also the lifespan of a halogen is considerably shortened if you have them on when you turn the ignition of your car, or if you have a light sensor on your car, which turns them on auto, at night, when you start the car. that's why I prefer to turn on just the parking lights first, start the car and then turn manually the low beams on. This eases the electric tension fluctuation from the start of the car and helps, like I said, to have a longer usage of those bulbs. other factors would be the condition of the roads you drive on; if those are bad then the vibrations will reduce their lifespan as well. And one more thing would be the improper installation of a halogen, by touching the glass of the bulb. Try to take these into consideration and you'll have them much longer.

    • @aarifs123
      @aarifs123 7 лет назад

      ok
      looks like the NB Laser are sensitive to road conditions
      and too many conditions to keep them long lasting...

      Philips WhiteVision ist mein persönlicher Favorit. Besser als NB Laser in "Weiße" und Lebensdauer. Laser halten etwa 6 Monate, WHiteVision kann bis zu 2 Jahre dauern. Wenn Sie keine hohen Erwartungen von ihnen haben, wie Xenon reinweiß aussehen, werden Sie nicht enttäuscht sein. Erwarten Sie nicht, dass ein Halogen wie Xenon ist. Es ist unmöglich.

    • @yosie7753
      @yosie7753 6 лет назад

      m3rovingian das ist mir bewusst.
      Reinweiß müssen sie nicht sein, aber ein bisschen weißer als die normalen wäre schon toll :) möchte halt nicht ohne Licht fahren, auch wenn ich dann weißes licht habe.
      Hatte das mit den Gread Lights h7, sie waren super weiß, leicht bläulich, aber im Dunkeln fahren war die reinste Katastrophe. Regen ging garnicht !

    An update. I asked you for different bulbs about a year ago and got both the white vision and the nightbrakers. Well, I decided to do an upgrade last month. Now my Mercedes has xenon headlights. HID low beam, Nightbraker laser for the high beams and the white visions are now fog lights. Nothing beats the bright and focused light of a pair of xenon headlights. Wish I could have gone with a bi-xenon upgrade, but it's too expensive. I'd have to replace a ton of parts to make it work properly.

    • @m3rovingian
      @m3rovingian  7 лет назад

      There is no contest when it comes to a xenon kit. that is for sure. Whatever you get, try not to overspend. How many times do you actually use the high beams. i don't think it worth's the investment.

      Dinello K the Osram Night Breaker Laser are a warm light bulb. My appreciation is they are in the 3600k-3700k, a bit whiter than the Night Breaker Unlimited. Their lifespan is of 250 hours. You can see it in my detailed review here: ruclips.net/video/iMyehxZR3h8/видео.html

    Hello.I've got H11 in my Mazda3 BM bulbs and Philips White Vision price is 2 times more expensive than Night Breaker Unlimited. What a pitty that osram does not offer a Night Breaker Laser because White Vision would certainly be cheaper.
    White Vision offer 3700K and Night Breaker Unlimited 3600K so the brightness of both should probably be very similar?
    My choice is high lights/day lights HB3 and small parking bulbs W5W - White Vision and low lights H11 - Night Breaker Unlimited.
    Greetings from Poland, too

    • @m3rovingian
      @m3rovingian  7 лет назад

      Although the new branding of WhiteVision is 3700k, the bulbs remained the same as when they were sold as 4300k. The difference between them and Osram NBUnlimited is great and very obvious from the light color point of view. NBUnlimited are very warm and yellowish, while WhiteVision are obviously colder.
      It is true, for the H11 fitting, WhiteVision are the most expensive halogens. You can literally buy a HID conversion kit if you ad a bit more money, so only you will be able to know if they worth buying or not.
      If you want to match the WhiteVision light color on the parking lights, try Philips X-tremeVision LED T10 w5w 4000k.
      All the best!
