Good shooting! Been looking at that Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro. How is the battery life in cold temps?
Haven’t hunted in real cold temps yet. Only went through 1 battery during that tournament.
good quick set. I'm sure i asked you last year but what does your 243 rig weigh? I have a 6.5 rig I would like to use for a day rig but its weighs a ton. my night rig is a 6mm arc a lot less weight. Also I have a XP50 I use after seeing yours last year. I would love to have a hand held but its not in the budget. what's your thoughts on removing the XP50 for hand held then mounting once dogs are located. Me personally I'm not a big fan of removing scopes even though it has 1 of the bests mounts i added ( not factory)on it. just seems like a lot to fumble fart around with in the dark. thanks for your insight.
It weights 8.1lbs, just bare rifle. I’m not a big fan of taking optic off for a scanner. Sometimes the sets can develop very quickly and wouldn’t have a lot of time to get it connected quick enough.
