      Beyond the big injuries he said he had body defects that were causing him to break down since high school, so when he was dropping 30ppg he was in pain, that's why he stopped going for blocks and playing defense as much.

    Tmac is HOF get over it. He was the Mac Daddy bruh. Tmac stats were HOF worthy and his career ended early. He happened to be on team with Yao Ming (Injury ended career early) Grant Hill (one of the saddest injury stories and greatest in the nba) and tjen Tmac injuries ended career early.
    Tmac was no joke and amazing to watch this dude was doin the self pass off the backboard dunk in games like fuck it.
    And never forget that spurs game.

    • @RRRRRRRRR33
      @RRRRRRRRR33 7 лет назад +1

      Injuries are part of the game willing or not, there's no excuse. Other injury prone players like Walton and Sampson got inducted because they had illustrious college careers. Tracy did nothing for the game of bball, never won a ring, never past the first round as a starter, he skipped college and he didn't even played a single olympics.

    • @enzime321
      @enzime321 7 лет назад +1

      What stats? lol He was known for scoring..career ended at what.. 18K points? He never advanced beyond the first round...was never a MVP....someone tell me what stats
      Might as well say Gilbert Arenas because both had a 3 year window of making people say WoW then burnt out to being nobodies

    • @enzime321
      @enzime321 7 лет назад +3

      Do the playoffs end at the first round for stats or do we count the Finals stats? What are McGrady's finals stats? What were his Western Conference Finals Stats? It is fine you are a passionate Tracy McGrady fan...but one thing they teach in Psychology is that when things said only bother someone when they care. Also the saying the truth hurts...possible to be applied here lol
      Carmelo has a better resume then McGrady does so I would put Carmelo in the Hall before McGrady. Remember the Hall takes ALL basketball...not just NBA...Melo has a Chip in College, and at least got out the first round

Rodman was the only HOF player in his prime along with MJ and Scottie. That's 3 HOF players...but like 25+ other guys who got rings too. Nope, Kobe was better than Tracy at every level. Even in the lone season that Tracy was scorning champ, he only scored 2 pts more than Kobe (sharing the load with Shaq) with worse percentages and overall production (less rebounds, assists, steals, etc). Tracy never played 82 games in his life, scored more than 25 ppg only 4 times compared to Kobe who did that 10 times. To compare the 2 is even offensive.

    • @EpicReign
      @EpicReign 7 лет назад +17

      Rafael Teles TMac won the scoring title two seasons... he was better than Kobe offensively when he was in the best shape of his life. Kobe was more tenacious on defense, but their defensive skill was about the same, aside from Kobe maybe having quicker hands and TMac being able to time the block better. TMac was a MUCH better facilitator. Kobe had a MUCH better team, and had MUCH less pressure to play with.
      Not to take anything away from Kobe, the dude is one of the greatest of all time, but I'm taking Prime No Injury TMac over Prime Kobe any day.

    • @mrmacross
      @mrmacross 7 лет назад

      If you compare McGrady and Kobe, obviously Kobe wins. However, when you talk McGrady, it's like talking Bill Walton: you talk about one or two truly great seasons, and mostly what would've happened if they never were slowed by injuries. To be fair, McGrady's best season he posted a 30.3 PER and 16 Win Shares. Kobe never did that, so it's not unreasonable to wonder if McGrady's best season was better than Kobe's best season.
      Clearly, Kobe was the better player, but he was kind of more fortunate to have better teammates, and not have the chronic back and knee issues.

    T-Mac is one of my favorite players, sometimes even my favorite. If only he had the right players around him he would've gotten a ring. But irregardless of whether he has a ring or not, there's no denying that he deserves to be in the hall of fame.

Remember T Mac joined the spurs and went to the finals who was 1st seed in the west but didn't execute. In all honesty he is a bit salty its like wen they mention rings around charles barkley he gets uncomfortable.

    • @certifiedfinest5065

      Apocalyptic not necessarily. JR is a better more fluid pairing for Lebron. JR is a much better off the ball, catch and release shooter and also has a quicker release.

    • @EpicReign
      @EpicReign 7 лет назад +7

      Certified Finest JR isn't better than TMac in any aspect of the game other than celebrations. If TMac had to be an off the ball weapon of mass destruction, no team would ever be able to double anybody on his team. JR isn't dangerous unless he hits a streak. TMac didn't need to get hot because his shot was never off. JR needs to chill because he shouldn't even breathe the same air as TMac.

    • @certifiedfinest5065
      @certifiedfinest5065 7 лет назад

      Lit Pusher Imo JR meshes much better for Lebron as a catch and shoot weapon. His shot is more fluid with a quicker release. Tmac has a 2 step shot making him inconsistent as a catch and shoot player. Hence a career 30% from the 3 point line

    • @certifiedfinest5065
      @certifiedfinest5065 7 лет назад

      Lit Pusher however in terms of the complete package, no doubt Tmac has more to offer. However talking in terms of compatibility, Tmac is more as an iso type player rather than a lethal 3 point asset for Lebron's passes

    Very understood Tracey McGrady, anyone can win a championship, but not everyone can be in the HALL OF FAME. That was well said, and shouldn't be a strike against anyone who understands the game. It's all about a difference of skill level, and individual accomplishments that gets you to the hall of fame. The sooner one comes to that understanding they too might be able to accomplish getting in the HALL OF FAME if that’s what they are looking to accomplish. Hall of Fame players have a different dynamic to their basketball skill set than others, which actually makes them entertaining to watch. Congratulation on your acceptance to the Hall of Fame!

    Tracy is absolutely right, anybody can end up on the end of a championship bench as the 7th thru 15th man, play sparingly and win a championship. There are 10 or 15 players on both teams combined, in the finals, that play minor roles on their team or never see the floor at all. Players cant get into the Hall of Fame in a group, your individual achievements gets you in the Hall of Fame. Its much more difficult to cross the threshold of the Hall of Fame than to win a team championship...thats a fact !

    1) Hall of fame+Championships = All time Greats
    2) Hall of famers who carried teams for many years but came short of championships
    3) Role players who happen to be in a championship teams.
