The basement has come along soooo beautifully!! I really love everything! It would so amazing if you found another cedar chest like the one you got for the other side. It would look gorgeous having 2. And the door to the basement, I think white to blend, or the secret door, for sure! We’ve been looking at homes to buy for almost a year. And your home is something I would kill to have on our market here. There’s just nothing that fits what we want. Some have been so close. But this down stairs would be the best part for me! Having teenagers and their friends over and them being able to go down to that area, ah! So perfect!

The bathroom is GORGEOUS!!! Love everything about it. Regarding the door that you're considering painting...if you keep your full length mirror in the position that we see it in, which is beside the door to be painted, just keep in mind that it will automatically reflect any color that you make it. Keeping it the same color as the walls will make it look cleaner and more cohesive to the rest of your space. Another great video, look forward to seeing the next!
I’m in love. Bookcase door would be a super cool idea and would add another unique touch to your house. Otherwise I’d personally go with a darker blue or even a green for the door. There’s so much light down there that a little touch of a darker earthy color would be a great contrast

Why don’t you keep the desk!? It’s cute. Plus it’s a conversation piece since it’s original to the basement! Make it into a bar! Place it against the wall add a big back mirror add some wire shelf’s and you can have a cute wet bar!

If you close the lid before you flush, the bottom of the lid is going to be stained with pee and whatever. I get the point, but putting the lid down really isn’t a good idea.
