In this video I went all out with the sound effects, but this was only possible because of Halo fans who have extracted the actual original sound effects straight from the games. These include weapon sounds, voice acting, combat dialogue, footsteps and more. No more recording sounds from the TV like I and many others used to do back in the day! Here is a list of the best sources to download entire folders of Halo sound effects that you can use in your animations.

I'd also like to thank the absolute chad who somehow got hold of the individual 'Created pledges' audio from Halo 5 and put them up in a google docs folder for the crazy people like me who need something that specific in a video. A new animation? that was unexpected!
The story is simple yet efficient, the sfx is mastered, the dialogs were short but efficient, the 3d scenes were used properly and didnt seem to be used randomly.
The set outside is decent but the idea of the underground one makes it very interesting, we dont often see dark tunnels with such lighting in stop-motion.
The composition adds a lot to it, feels professional, the camera angles were very different from what we usually see.
Finally some classic Halo stop-motion which doesnt look generic AF, like "hey we are marines and we have to kill the covies and we like long dialogs which take 3/4 of the time used to tell the viewer stories he doesnt even care about and blablabla..." xD

And yeah, lots of people say my videos are short. I really appreciate people who make a whole story out of it with loads of dialogue, but I definitely prefer a shorter video with as much action as possible. Maybe I'll get voice actors in the future. Thanks for your breakdown!
I love how smooth the stop motion was it actually looked like the characters were alive when they moved. And I love the warthog scenes,could you make this a series? I think that would be pretty cool.

Awesome animation! How many fps did you do for this one?
Haha thank you!! I used 25fps, mainly because that's what my camera can directly export stop motions at so I don't need to use software to create the animation. Its lovely and smooth but it definitely makes the animation way more difficult and much easier to make mistakes, which is why there's a bunch of shots in this film that look jittery. So I'm not sure if I recommend it or not haha :)

this is honestly so awesome, I love how short the movie is. it says all it needs to and is over and I like that, some people draw there stop motions out for 20 min and it kind of gets boring but this is all action and I love it!

Great video, kind of builds upon one of halo 5's ending missions where all the A.I.'s are turning against the UNSC, another great part about this video is where the big flood creature comes out of the darkness, that freaked me out, you should do more videos with the flood, and with parts that scare you to death, like Halo CE did.

8.5 outta 10 easily. The only changes I would’ve made would have a combat form drive the Ghost, use the Savannah from Reach sound effect, and I would’ve used an SP Jackal with the Carbine. Otherwise fantastic
