My strategy is to immediately start drawing until I go to bed again, and then I am too lazy to get up because I have more Ideas so I just draw on the back of my pillow

I watched this video around 3-4 years ago when i was still VERY amateur and in an art block. I followed this video and ended up forming an original character. Im STILL drawing her today, even if she is barely recognizable personality wise and visually apart from a couple of traits. Not only that, but im developing an entire story around her and other characters i created to interact with her that im hoping to produce one day. Thank you for this video, it honestly pushed me pretty far along my art journey.

Thank you for this video, it's a nice way to put an end to thinking too hard about what to draw. I tried sketching everything what came to my mind just to draw things I usually don't draw frequently and got a page full of different things. It's not the same approach as yours, because you tried to come up with what to draw in the end, but it's at least similar and added to techniques I can put to use when stuck. So thanks for this video again. :D

You should REALLY make a graphic novel for your characters that you draw/design along with their story! I would LOVE that and totally buy the full “series”!!!!!
They speed the video up. Other times they have been doing this for a long time so its muscle memory so they really dont take long. Just take your time and go at your own pace

This video gives me so much nostalgia: The memory of sitting on the bleachers, in the old gym at my high school last year, one day when my art teacher decided to let the class just run around and hang out in there, watching this with my earbuds in, almost getting hit in the face with a basketball. I miss last year.
I'm guilty of that and the opposite. In my sketchbook its typically one drawing per page and all neat. If I'm just sketching randomly I often squeeze in as many little drawings on a page as I can. And to avoid smudging any of the drawings or getting pencil on them I usually draw in pen. :> :p I'm a lazy perfectionist. If I get serious it must be PERFECT. Otherwise 'eh.'

I'm guilty of that and the opposite. In my sketchbook its typically one drawing per page and all neat.
If I'm just sketching randomly I often squeeze in as many little drawings on a page as I can. And to avoid smudging any of the drawings or getting pencil on them I usually draw in pen. :> :p
I'm a lazy perfectionist. If I get serious it must be PERFECT. Otherwise 'eh.'
