- Wall mural doodled entirely with sharpies within a period of 3 days. The design incorporates flowers in the chinese culture to bring in good health and prosperity.
Peonies considered the 'king of flowers' to symbolize prosperity, happiness and peace. Lotuses symbolizing ultimate purity and moral strength as they rise untainted and beautiful from the mud. They also represents long life, humility, honor and tranquility. Plum blossoms typically bloom in winter representing the value of endurance, as life ultimately overcomes through the vicissitude of time. Chrysanthemums to bring happiness, cheerful optimism and laughter. The narcissus is said to bestow the flowering of the hidden talents, an auspicious symbol in advancing careers. Lilies as a symbol of good luck and abundance of wealth. Hydrangeas are said to suggest love, gratitude, and enlightenment.

This is amazing! WARNING to watchers - sharpie is nigh impossible to paint over. No matter how much paint you use, sharpie will bleed through. Even heavy duty oil-based primer can't fully cover it. Don't use sharpie unless you want it there FOREVER

Is it the same if it's water based sharpie? I'm thinking of using white water based sharpie on light olive green wall. Please advice. Thanks!
@@magnoliablossoms8720 I'm not sure, but in my experience marker felt doesn't hold up well on walls (the ink runs dry very quickly). There are special paint markers graffiti artists use, but I suspect those would be hard to cover up. My advice would be to use a runny white paint (add a little water to latex paint) and use a brush. This is what muralists often do, there's a particular tutorial I'll see it I can find

Very nice line art . You may want to try squirrel hair brushes flat 1/8 ,1/4' 1/2 inch thickness. they make beutiful straight lines that do not need dipping repeatedly . There is no other brush that paints like this making beautiful parallel clean edged lines .These are used in signs and pin striping cars . It will be faster than a sharpie. Sharpie ink may be a nightmare to paint over in the future . It may bleed through all layers of paint .Regular ink pens will travel upwards through all layers of paint and very difficult to cover up .I am not certain if sharpies are like this.Try squirrel brush cost 20-30 dollars but save hours of work !

They aren't on a regular painting, acrylic or oil, in my experience. Nice to know about the brushes though.

This is so gorgeous! Some things are best left alone without color but I would love to see this with some color. You really have talent!

This mural type wallpaper comes in panels and costs over $400 on some sites! I so wish I could draw and properly scale like you do! It would save me the money! Also headache of trial and error, if I had the skill! 😂

What markers are you using? I see they are sharpie brand but are they just a normal sharpie marker? I tried sharpie on my wall and it wants to soak in the paint and doesn't draw on nicely... Maybe I need a different base coat of paint? Idk..
Erica Hall Not sure if you still want a response but she used Magnum Sharpies. They are extremely large version of a regular sharpie.
