Two cisp & soft polys that I like: Prince Tour XR and Weiss Cannon Silverstring

I really like your string reviews. One string you should consider is head synthetic gut PPS it has very similar specs and feel to MLT and is less than half the price. Another very interesting string that's off the radar is Prince Warrior response. It's a polyester string but it has sort of a hybrid construction that gives it a very soft feel even though it's super stiff and very difficult to string onto a racquet. It has super tough coil memory, but the weird thing is it plays very soft and makes a great cross and remember it's a polyester. It is definitely one to put on your radar along with the head PPS string.

They have a white magic as well that is supposed to be very comfortable.

Dwell time is a major issue with softer strings, I had the same inconsistency and strange feeling with solinco hyper g soft. There are other softer strings though with ideal dwell time and crispier feel like volkl cyclone tour, even though tension maintenance isn't great, you can string it slightly higher tention or prestrech it to have longer play time.
