Wow you got a good line up of phones! it's been a while since I commented on your vid since I haven't played sims anymore, so I don't drop by so often to give my thanks on those update mods. As always keep up the good work! cheering on you! 😊
Good to know since I've just recently purchased a S24+. My only issues with it are with its loud speakers, and stereo separation. I can't fault them too much for the stereo separation, since I'm comparing it to a gaming focused phone, but the loud speaker's audio seems worse than a Motorola phone I finally retired.
After version 6.1, I noticed that the battery performance of my S22 Ultra (8gen1) increased, just like in this video. Could you do a more detailed battery drain test?
Im definitely regretting upgrading to the s24 ultra from my s23 ultra. The battery life is basically the same, the performance is pretty much the same as well and funnily enough the camera is worse on the s24 ultra in a lot of situations. Samsung really needs pull their finger out in the next update. Im actually tempted to try the pixel 9 when it comes out because I'm over Samsung's average camera performance.
samsung should really need to solve the performance issue on the s24 ultra. I even think that with every software update, the s24 ultra seems to do much worse than before
Looks like Samsung has downgraded the performance of the S24U to make the Exynos S24+ look better. No doubt to convince people that Exynos is better and justify its inclusion in upcoming devices. That 50% stability was terrible on the S24U and it ties in with my regret that I upgraded to it from the S23U. Even looking at the S23U display versus S24U, it looke far better. At least my battery life has improved on my S24U with the latest update, back to launch SOT after a few subpar months.
Yeah just seeing the S23U screen during editing - it's a massive difference and I do miss it now that I'm using my S24U daily. If they keep decreasing the performance of the S24U I'll just have to go back to my S23U 😅😭
Samsung HASN'T downgraded the S24 Ultra to make the s24 Exynos look better, stop with that excuses, the S23 Ultra performed better. That only shows that the 8 gen 3 stability isn't great.
@@casuarius6576 If you notice that from the April to May update performance of the S24U has fallen significantly in most tests, then how do you explain the downgrading of the results with the latest update so far? The only other reason rather than intent is the QC of the S24U is regressing and other OEMs have not had this issue.

The S23U was the brightest until the end, and the most reliable one imo
Yep!

Thanks for your kind words - much appreciated 💚
I think the s23 Ultra might be one of the best android phones ever made
I think it's a fact that the battery on the s22 Snapdragon 1 has improved before it drained faster than the exynos
Whats up with the brightness?
Wow NNAPI is 14% faster in last year's flagship :D What a shame for S24U Galaxy AI ;)

Yes I'll be doing a full battery drain test in the coming weeks!
I would reccomend you to perform the Antutu 15 min. CPU stress test more than once, that way you can get the real sustained performance of each device
Or perhaps run it for 45 minutes instead... I'll try and remember for the next one - thanks for the suggestion
Or more to control the thermals. Mine has been running cooler for about a month now.

I haven′t upgraded my S22U yet because I don′t see any reason to do it

I only did because I gave my girlfriend my S22 Ultra.
Does anyone know how the ONE UI 6.1 battery life is compared to 6.0 on the S23 Ultra?
I will be doing a battery drain test in the next week or so so we can all find out 👍

It's not looking good I agree. When it first launched it did OK - now just keeps getting worse 😭
I think they make the older one slower and weaker than their latest versions
Whilst possible I imagine it's mainly just the older chipsets showing their age and abilities
I had a very bad experience battery life in the s24+ !
Still 23 the beast
