Hello my Tetris friends. Here comes my combined Minecraft and Christmas animation.
Next time we'll have jelly again (if I don't forget again 😂)
This time one of my computers crashed again while rendering. This happened again at the point where the object overlaps the camera (shortly after the black and white area). I then always have to skip this area. Of course, I could also simply hide the objects in the program, but I don't notice this while I'm working because I don't have to render these areas at that moment.

@@ophidic Yes, I also think the transparent jelly versions are cool. Transparent objects or objects with hair require more rendering time or more dynamic calculations regarding the hair. But of course I will continue to make such videos.

I understand what you mean. It seems a bit contradictory to see a hard object that is ultimately soft.
I'd like ridiculous lotto ball draw simulations, with added fluid and stuff kinda like these videos. I started using blender a bit but I'm a ways off from doing something like that on my own yet.
That's not the problem with the lottery number generator. The problem will be the liquid, because you need a lot of particles and every object particle collision tag. As the number of balls increases, the calculation of the balls will of course also take some time. But the main work will be the liquid. This takes an extremely long time to calculate.
If I were you, I would start with 3 or 6 balls (like a cube). If that works, try doing it with liquid. Here the range would still be very small due to the small number of balls ;)
@@C4D4U I'm not even there yet, lol I'm still learning the programs tools. Haha it makes Photoshop (which I am accustomed to) look like a fisher price toddler toy cuz there's all the color work there and in 3d WITH a timeline like a video editor lol omg
@@C4D4U what are you using anyway? I saw some pretty bonkers fluid sims in the current unreal engine.
I've always assumed these were made in blender tho.
@@ophidic Unreal and Unity are really powerful programs, but I don't know how to use them, otherwise I would probably try to program games, because programming is really fun. Simulations are also possible there and the speed is very high. If you want to work with liquids or particles you will probably have to use plugins. I myself have a few plugins for different things. They make the work easier but are not cheap. If I had to start all over again, I don't know if I would use Blender or Unity. It depends on what your goal is. Of course, it's good if you learn both, because in many areas the programs are similar.
I'm currently learning Houdini very intensively, but I don't yet know to what extent I can really use it for my animations. In any case, the digital assets are interesting for me there and I hope that I can simplify my work a little in the future.
