The thing I like about Vrabel is he isn't trying to be a Belichick clone. He's being himself and coaching his way. Although I don't doubt he learned a lot from the master.
He is what they need the ability to be in control and run a tight ship like BB yet has enough personality to connect with players. He has walked the walk he will right the ship
Hell of a coach. No Mariota, no Taylor Lewan, No Delanie Walker and a starting practice squad right tackle taking on JJ Watt. Vrabel made great adjustments and game planned very well for this game.
"Slow down....be patient.....it's okay, I like the call". Vrabel likely talking to one of the coordinators, probably LaFluer. This spoke volumes to me- this coaching staff is going to show trust in each other going forward and that is huge for this new staff and team full of young players. They have to display trust and confidence if the players are going to buy into it.
"Continue being aggressive." I was on the fence about him as a coach but after that statement he was a great hire. I think we lacked aggressiveness since steve mcnair was our qb. #TitanUp
1:28 "That's for you, coach." Damn.. these players RESPECTED this man. They truly loved him. Firing him is going to go down as of the biggest gaffes in NFL history.
Also, there could have been plenty more good dialogue in this- just from hearing all the stories the players on the team and the local/team-represented media/sideline personnel, there was a lot of good stuff that could go in here. Video should have been longer but hey I'll take what I can get since the national media likes to ignore "small market" teams.
No because he just doesn't get it. I've met him personally multiple times in Cleveland and I really want him to succeed because he's really is a nice guy but I don't think he truly gets it. Like I don't think he realizes he's been given so many chances and that this may be his last chance but also him injuring his hamstring then not taking responsibility further shows that.
@@LuisMedina-rg6tt why was Mariota on the sideline in his gear? I guess his injury is still bothering him. It confuses me when they're injured but dressed. But I guess an injured Mariota is better then their other backup option.
OmegaMan yeah the report was Mariota couldn't properly grip the ball plus they didn't have to 2 starting tackles against J.J Watt and they thought Clowney was playing so why risk more injury

It's not just Belichick. Remember he also learned under Urban Meyer as well.
That fake punt is signature Belichick.

actually knew the guy, his son went to my school, look up st michaels in columbus
Kelly at RT isn't a practice squad guy. He could be a hell of a starter in the NFL we luckily have him as a backup
Who else wants more mic'd up videos?
Literally the best thing about the nfl is mic'd up vids
Unfortunately, I think they cut down on it this year. They don't even post NFL Turning point on youtube anymore!
Get 'em Mike! New England is rooting for ya!
L
Why again is new england rooting for him?
Alexis Lopez vrabel played for the pats when he was a player
Alexis Lopez bandwagon 🤣
Alexis Lopez you need to change your profile pic if you don’t know who Mike Vrabel is smh

Lol Byard was so happy after the Punt TD
Vrabel is definitely a players coach, love the energy from the coaching and the team. Props to the Titans good luck this season. Go Niners.
OUR TENNESSEE RADIO ANNOUCER IS THE BEST IN THE NFL. TOUCHDOWWWWWWWWN TITANS!!!
Our Titans announcer learned at the feet of the greatest ever, the incomparable John Ward.
You must not be familiar with Mitch Holtus
This dude might be a legit coach. So calm and poised and this was his second game
I like this coach already.
@1:27 brings a tear to my eye during these turbulent times. You love to see it. ❤️
Players seem to really love him. Titans could be a sneaky playoff team but their injuries are a huge worrying sign.
Its better that the injuries are at the start of the season, this way if anything happens the guys have a lot of time to heal and rest
Ted Stephen not if they lose a bunch of games and can’t catch up
E C sneaky?
This comment aged well 😁

Love coach...
Lol mike always comes to my brothers games cause Carter Vrabel is on the team. And he is sooooo funny
Would like to see Mayo mic’d up and see the difference! Looked like he was just standing there all game. I’m so happy Vrabel is Pats coach!
The first of many things to come...TITANUP
Lets get this chip coach! Welcome to NE!!
Couple more years till we are near a chip
I was at this game!!! My wife and I evacuated Wilmington, NC and drove west to Nashville. My third game at that stadium. So much fun!!!! #titanup
Vrabel is a cool assassin coach
Who is here after Vrabes won COACH OF THE YEAR!!! 🏆
He's our guy, we finally got someone
This was kinda short but still better than nothing
As an Eagles fan, I hope the Titans do well, just not this week. Mariota is a great dude and would love to see you guys beat the pats in the playoffs
Your wish has been granted lol
Many more to come

As we play tackle football from Nashville no we play 2 hand touch is what clay matthews said
Nothings better than beating your former team in the NFL
A true Chad
I wish Compton was still on the team #boys
...your wish has been granted
I was at that game
Me too
Dee09 Motivation yes but the titans are a close second
I was there too
He isn't trying to be Belichick but is turning into him
Will josh gordon ball out this season. Like if he will comment if he wont
no way!

Of course he will, but if he acts like he did in Cleveland, he isn't going to get any snaps
He's on the Pats now
Was Gabbert only in for that one play?
OmegaMan nah the whole game only only threw for 117 yards and the titans still won
