A great tour my friend. I was inspired by one of your previous videos to get a salvia hot 💋. I've put it mixed in with my clump of Dicksonians and it's giving some nice flashes of colour. Nice palms featured also. My experience with the variability of chaemarops matches yours, some sucker earlier, some much later (8 years easy on my big Mediterranean palm). I suspect your frond colour difference reflects more of that same variability rather it having any cerifera in it. Great video👏👏👍. Cheers
Thanks I’m glad you got more inspiration from the salvias, they are brilliant, it’s interesting the way you have them growing Among the tree ferns. My Cerifera does not seem to grow compare to the other Chaemerops. I have one of them.
Thanks for the tour of your lovely garden. I wonder if I could store those kinds of salvias in a garage over winter as my climate is too extreme for them. But they certainly look wonderful.
Thanks very much, I have read that you can overwinter the blue salvia plant like you do with Dhalias. It is herbaceous. Salvia hot lips is a tough plant and is hardier that’s the salvia Greggii varieties that look similar. I think it is hardy to -10c.
Beautiful garden❤️❤️🌹🌹🇬🇧
Salvia best time for cuttings July/ august ! Great tour thanks for your time 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank again Graham, Yes those salvias seems to be really good for taking cuttings.
