Now I have no problem being a "Miranda" but let's face it.... Not everyone can handle the "Mirandas" of the world.... Right?! We're not mean, we care so much we use our brains, hearts, AND guts!!
Yep, even though i'm a gay guy I've run into it. Many just can't it and I learned that's fine. I finally found my Steve about 10 years ago and he appreciates it ( well most days) and it's a great match.
@@jdpatrick1106 (ps I'm a woman with breast cancer in the family. That's probably why I know it would be funny. Life sucks, so ya gotta laugh at everything or you'll cry at everything.)
@@jdpatrick1106 I really am sorry for what you're going through--it's hell, no matter what. My point is, I appreciate the exactly same "dark humour" applied to a woman as applied to a man, and in exactly the same way. It's a coping mechanism for me and many others. It's not for everyone--so of course I can't argue with you if you think it's not funny. That's your opinion, and it's 100% valid. But it's not "sexist" humour, because I can and do make dark-humour jokes about women's cancer too--within limits, for both genders, of course. (and to be sure, part of what makes this funny is that she's the only one who laughs at her own joke---so yeah it's a bit of a faux pas on her part, but that too is part of the humour. We laugh at the pun (if we want to) AND we laugh at her social ineptitude in uttering it at an awkward moment.) As you might know, in the SATC series, the Samantha character gets cancer as well, and the script has several of the same kind of coping-mechanism funny jokes around her situation...with the complete understanding that everyone loves each other and empathizes with the person. Wishing you all the best for your struggle and recovery, --T.O.
And - this might sound a bit gross, but - compare them? Doesn't even have to be in front of the doctor, could bring out a few to see which would "fit" lol?
I'm sorry, what does she mean by the "ford pinto"?? I have no clue. I have seen this episode so many times and when she says that line I just get the joke.
The Pinto is a car that is infamous for exploding many many times. A Guy tried to make the first flying car and used a Pinto as the base... Needless to say that the project crashed and burned.
Miranda's comment: "Who cares about balls. They're just two hanging glands." Talk to any woman who's had a mastectomy. Men feel about their balls like women feel about their breasts. What a callous remark.
Don't be sexist. "Weak for a man" lol my ass. He's fine. Imagine getting one of your breasts removed?? You probably wouldn't feel too great walking around without a breast now would you. Would wanting a breast implant make you a "weak woman"? Pathetic.
Jessica how so? Steve is funny, sporty, hard working, loyal, reasonably ambitious while also being supportive of Miranda. He's the salt of the earth. But yes, losing one of your testicles and having to discuss a replacement with your doctor and your ex-girlfriend in the room is a little shy-making for any man. Look at it from Steve's perspective.
I love Miranda. She's my favorite of all the four women - witty, sarcastic, intelligent, while still caring.
Me too, Crazy girl. She's my role model. 😅😊
Miranda tried to hide her kindness. She failed. I love her humanity.
Not anymore lol
@@rannierunsfast true lol. They've really butchered her character in the reboot.
@@Crazygurl1211 Is not canon for me 😣
That's the Miranda we knew... not the one who runs away with CHE
oh I totally need Miranda in my life. Look how she cut the crap of doctors? “No. Steve. No!”
S Moon That’s a lawyer for you lol.
Yeah, she cares what might happen to Steve. And I'm glad Steve doesn't do this. If I were a guy, I wouldn't do something that still unsafe.
Oh, the way they both shake their heads like little kids being asked "are we gonna be naughty at school?" by their parents is adorable
Have you been around white that’s how they talk lol!

I hear ya! ;)
The show and the world wouldn't be good without Mirandas!
The thing about being a Miranda is that you know your tribe will find you.
Yes unlike Samantha

LMAO "I dropped the ball!"
@@jdpatrick1106 In a similar vein and context, yes it would be equally funny. But I'm not sure how the pun would work.

oh yeah It's amazing how Miranda becomes so more beautiful so more attractive when Steve is around....
Miranda and Steve were so cute in this scene
Miss this Steve and miranda, wish they kept being light :(
The fact Steve thinks it's perfectly safe while he's wearing a T-Shirt that say Pompei is hilarious...
Yeah,I agree,we knew all along that Steve was right for Miranda. They go so well together.
Steve wanted Miranda to say “ he had big balls” so bad Lmfaooooooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh my god, this is hilarious.... Miranda's facial expressions always crack me up!
Shouldn't they look at the sizes before deciding which one is right? Sheesh.
And - this might sound a bit gross, but - compare them? Doesn't even have to be in front of the doctor, could bring out a few to see which would "fit" lol?
They probably do that after the person is enrolled.
This was a beautiful relationship.
Miranda is so me, clumsy, and with a weird/black kind of humor 🤣
I don’t think weird and black are synonymous of each other but ok...
Steve was always handsome.
Miranda sure was good moral support for Steve
it's a reference to the car the Ford Pinto. It's not viewed as the best of cars because of rumors about the gas tank being unsafe.
you should look up that debate clip with michael moore vs milton friedman
I want an Ed SEL
It wasn't "rumors. " Cars had actually caught fire due to the gas tank being in the back and being in an accident. Several people died.
It wasn’t a rumour. Ford decided it would be cheaper to pay out money to the families rather than recall the car
Thank you for the explanation!
lmao 'i dropped the ball'
It might be upset for having one ball left, but once he nailed Miranda pregnancy, Boss mode.
Steve is my fav and his voice 😍
One Ball + Lazy Ovary = Brady
Imagine them having two balls and Super Hardworking Ovary = Carrie and Big Can't Never
Um, Carrie and Big didn't want to.
I love Miranda's awkwardness.
Finally- Miranda saying something smart and not brainwashed xo
She's so sweet and gentle here... completely different side
Why wouldn’t they name the sizes s, m, l and xl instead of xs, s, m, and l… Even coffee companies know that it would make people feel happier
Well maybe the size xs does not exist in reality , so the men with size s feel more comfortable :-D
LOL I love them so much :)
whaa why are they choosing the size. wouldnt the dr choose lol

I think the fuel tank was near the back of the car so when you got rear ended the car blew up.

Miranda is a darling.
I dropped the ball 😆 lol
LOL! Poor Steve!
u got more of miranda and steve's videos?
Cynthia Nixon probably wouldn't have come back to do the new version unless they made Miranda gay. Steve he's a great guy maybe he won't come back
Miranda's comment: "Who cares about balls. They're just two hanging glands." Talk to any woman who's had a mastectomy.
Men feel about their balls like women feel about their breasts. What a callous remark.
So the other testicle he has is supposed to stay the same size as the implant?
Why does he need a new ball?
Suman R he had testicular cancer and had one removed. And is considering getting a prosthetic for aesthetic reasons.
she loves him as he is even minus one ball..thats love..
No, that's being an adult and knowing that health problems can happen.
News flash: Balls don’t really matter to women.
che dolci!!
Miranda should've married better. That's ok. Get what your worth ladies
lmao!
He's cute but he's weak for a man...

She probably said that because he let Maranda take over the conversation
Once you find your strong man, you may get very unpleasantly surprised. Have fun. 👌
Never liked him
