    My brother and I cleaned out houses for several huge properties owners, they wanted us to haul off everything on a shoestring budget.We took most of the furniture and other decent items to an auction house, we made extra money.Donated anything else to a charity, it was great working for ourselves, stay free as long as you can, working for yourself is the tops.

  • @24kGoldenRocket
    @24kGoldenRocket 7 лет назад

    Yeah!!! You scored it. Right on.
    A lot of that is Flea Market Life. Even the Coat Hangers. Send out the Broom God and split it. Or even better yet...
    Another idea is that you can throw a Yard Sale at that address (before moving it) and have people pay you to haul it off.
    One man's trash is another man's treasure.
    Advertise it as "Foreclosure Cleanout. Everything Goes."
    Your Mom would have some fun with that. She'd dig it. Run that idea by her. She seems to love Yard Sales.
    Price everything to sell....cheap. The more that leaves the less you move. If they pick it up ask them what is their offer. If reasonable then take it. If they pick it up then they are not leaving without it. You can always get more.

    You should open a store in the low rent district, pay a guy to man it and sell the stuff you don't want. I was manager of a used shop that we ran a moving business out of. A few days a month I was a mover and mostly I manned the phone booking jobs and sometimes a salesmen.

      Ebay final selling fees are outrageous, shipping is a pain and some buyers can be problematic. Then you always have to worry if sent items will arrive undamaged, if they arrive, tracking and insurance is not a sure thing either. I would suggest yard sales or Craigslist, then all profit is yours and no refunds.

    • @thenewfoundation9822
      @thenewfoundation9822 7 лет назад +1

      I've had over 4300 individual internet sales on different websites over the last three years, mailing stuff all over the world. I've had one item lost in the mail, two items arriving damaged and one complaint about long shipping times (to a guy in India). If you have problems all the time, I'm pretty sure it's your own fault and you're doing something wrong.
      Who cares about fees if you get 5 times as much cash (or more) for your stuff than at a yardsale or flee market? Yardsale = your neighborhood, internet = the entire world.

    • @DumpsterMarcus
      @DumpsterMarcus 7 лет назад

      The New Foundation right!!!!! Yea it's work posting stuff on the internet and shipping. Yes fees suck BUT for something I sell on eBay for $50 someone would only pay $5 at a yard sale. Just selling things I found in the TRASH I made PROFIT $34,000 in 2016. So yea selling on eBay doesn't suck

    • @Dontwantahandle0
      @Dontwantahandle0 7 лет назад

      My apologies, I wasn't meaning to put you on the defense and no, I haven't had hardly any problems selling, just was reflecting what I have heard about other sellers. Your point is well taken and for many, selling online is a profitable solution, for some, Craigslist and yard sales work. You just follow your heart and do what works, I enjoyed your videos, btw. Thank you.

    ive been selling on the internet from Dec 1991 and i have had 32 years of marketing experience in many industries and venues and I can say that where your market may give you $5 for a small wooden table our market where I live will give me $25-$45 for the same table... for example when im in Boulder colorado i will pick up at least 8 to 12 leather couches free but in tennessee they wouldnt dream of giving away anything leather and i can sell a leather couch for between $200-$600 so it all depends on ones market... of course Ebay is a global market and just keeping an eye on what sells for how much varies all in the same venue.

    OVER TIME

  • @European-Okie1986
    @European-Okie1986 7 лет назад +2

    This is the first time I seen something like this. How can you get the key and take the stuff that people left behind, when the house was foreclosed ? How to you go about this?

    • @tuckandsammie
      @tuckandsammie  7 лет назад

      It becomes bank owned after the people don't pay the mortgage for an extended amount of time. They get 30 days once it becomes the banks property to get their belongings after that the lock is changed and the stuff needs to go so the bank can re list it. It's called capitalism, harsh but real.

    • @European-Okie1986
      @European-Okie1986 7 лет назад +2

    Get yourself a tire plug kit from the auto parts store or walmart! I carry one in my vehicle all the time!....Did the battery go dead on the trailer?
    Also it doesnt matter if the fishing poles are old or broke...People buy them up either way i found! Its crazy but true!..hahaha

    • @tuckandsammie
      @tuckandsammie  7 лет назад +1

      Tire plug kit a must and yeah battery went dead but I charged it that nigh and next day worked fine.

    • @j.b.p6478
      @j.b.p6478 7 лет назад +1

      I bet it uses alot of juice when lifting the trailer! How many times do you get to use it before it needs charged again? I dont know how its connected to the battery posts but maybe try disconnecting the positive post when not in use just to see if it makes a difference! Sometimes things like that are pulling juice even though your not using it! Now if you used it a dozen times before charging it back up then its understandable!

    Think about this, let it sink into your head deep. This could happen to anyone.... For some reason someone's life had a major crisses they lost there home and everything they owned and worked for all of these life. They are now struggling looking for help, food clothes a job a way back to some kind of life what it used to be. Make money off the bank sell the stuff and donate the proceeds to the needy to help them find a way to get back on there feet and become a productive member of the community some way to set there derailed life straight.
    Like I said, this could happen to anyone and it did a lot of people around 2007.
    Perhaps you were effected by it too. Remember when you didn't have 2 dimes to rub together? I do. And life was tough.

    I'm sorry I brought the whole subject up, leaving myself open to bad remarks. It's not how long it was in foreclosure, it just hit me wrong when I saw the Christmas Tree being kicked down the stairs, that's all it was about.Still will watch and love you.

      Never wanted any negativity toward you but I do believe the people had many chances to take the items and didn't. You might not understand how hard it is to clean out an entire house in this short amount of time and that many trips up and down the stairs is super heavy. I recovered bonds worth over 1,000 with the peoples names on them, a social security card, passports, and other very personal paperwork which I delivered to the neighbor to give back to the previous owners. I was not trying to be disrespectful but work is work and at the end of the day it all had to go out of the house.

    You just wasted $500 ,I own 63 rental homes and a land contract only real estate businezs so we have evictions and foreclosures all the time ,after collecting quality clothing ,furniture and housewares for years my son decided to open a store where we sell all the clothing furniture electronics and auto parts left behind ,we own the storefront so after property taxes and overhead my son pulled $73,000 before tax profit from the store ,you should seriously consider buying an empty building of 5,000 sq ft or more to start a pick n save business .
