Thank goodness I found your video. I tried my first Italian cast on today - got the hang of it quickly and then went to join in the round and nearly went mad trying to understand how to untwist the stitches! Thank you.

A life saver. Thank you. I remember casting on 180 sts with Italian Tubular CO - twice, three times, then gave up. If only I had seen your video then.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I am working on a sweater with a tubular cast on for the first time and after casting on four times without any success, I had just decided to move on to my regular cast on but this tutorial is just what I needed. This is a tubular cast on lifesaver!!!

Patty you are the BEST!!! OMG. I cannot express how grateful I am to have this bit of knitting wisdom! I do have one question…I thought that in the first row of the double knitting, one is supposed to knit the knits through the back loop. Do you not find that necessary? Thanks a million gaZILLLLLLION for this tutorial!

If you knit the knits through the back loop you will twist the stitch.
