    Hey man great video. I just purchased a 2023 summit reserve 2 row. Coming from a 2017 75th anniversary grand Cherokee, this new design is definitely an upgrade. The interior and technology upgrades are definitely next level. So far I’m seeing 25.8mpg hwy and about 20mpg around town. That is with the v6. So far I am loving all the updates and upgrades.

    I’ve had the Overland for a year now and the issues I’ve had have mainly been cosmetic like breaking plastic clips in the interior. Also the RHM didn’t work properly which was a pain but covered. Otherwise I got the V8 and she’s beastly!!

    I'm currently looking into my next vehicle. This video for sure has me favoring what was already an option for me. Haven't had an SUV yet, so it would be my first. Any first time pros/cons I can look out for? Even what was said in the video as down sides weren't deal breakers for me so far lol

    • @GodspeedZRZ

      In terms of an SUV you can't beat the practicality and function, the only downsides I ever experience are just a bit less fuel economy as well as getting blown around a little more aggressively in high winds. SUV's are definitely my favorite, thanks for watching!

    Before bringing your JGC to the dealer about the garage door opener buttons not working, make sure you follow the additional steps outlined in the Rolling Code Garage Door Opener Final Steps section of the owners manual. Basically, after programming the remote control to the Homelink button, you then need to go the the Garage Door Opener, push the Learn button, then follow those additional steps in the manual. This same procedure was used on my GM vehicles as well and it works for all of them.

    Are those 2023 grand Cherokee reliable? Are they a smooth ride? What kind of suspension does it come with? Does insurance cost more for a Jeep grand Cherokee like you have?
    Thanks and great video.

    • @GodspeedZRZ
      @GodspeedZRZ  Год назад +2

      The reliability shouldn’t be an issue since most of the equipment on here has been used on other vehicles for years. The suspension is very smooth but not floaty. It has the standard suspension. Insurance should actually be less with all the safety equipment on the new ones unless you have to change you liability limitations over 50k. 06:45 In regards to warranties & oil changes I've always done my own oil changes on every vehicle I've owned and I've had lots of different vehicles, even when a warranty concern came up I never had an issue, but the key is you must use the specified oil type that meets manufacturer requirements, and also have receipts and a "detailed" mileage log. To my understanding, the "Magnuson- Moss Warranty Act" of 1975 is supposed to prevent any issues with warranty on a vehicle that had maintenence done away from the dealership provided the maintenence was done at the correct intervervals and the correct fluids/parts were used.

    • @GodspeedZRZ
      @GodspeedZRZ  Год назад +1

      You are 100% right if you are willing and able to do your own maintenance and keeping the correct documentation then most definitely go for it! If you are just taking it to bobbies down the road they won’t provide the correct documentation even if they use the right products!

But a bit unsure if the Forward collision warning is working or not.. its all turned on but i dont see it givin me any warnings even though i come close to the car in front of me..i had an Acura Rdx before n it used to warn at a much further distance..is this an issue with Jeep or are you experiencing anything like this

    • @GodspeedZRZ
      @GodspeedZRZ  Год назад +1

      The only time it will warn you or apply the brakes is when you are getting close at a high rate of speed. Essentially only when it believes you are in danger if you don’t get on the brakes. Thanks for watching!

Prior to signing the paperwork, I’ll be sure to test drive it and see first. I drove an L and never heard any hum; not sure if it’s just for the 2row, randomly or all GC.

    The problem I have with grand Cherokee is when the bushings wear out they don’t just change the bushings which is a cheap fix. They change the whole control arm since it comes as one piece ending up costing 4k plus dollars to change both from upper and lower control arm and bushing. Other than that it’s a pretty good car.

    • @GodspeedZRZ
      @GodspeedZRZ  Год назад +3

      Wow, that can definitely get expensive fast! I wasn’t aware of that. Thanks for watching!

    • @terafoley3020
      @terafoley3020 Год назад +3

      I think all car companies do that for bushing fix now. It comes as one piece & it is stupid to me why they wouldnt just make an additional bushing just in case it breaks but we are speaking about car companies its about money! I had a ford fusion 2011 that the bushing broke on control arm & i actially was able to rig it using moldable plastice & it worked like a charm until i traded it in! Keep any clutter away from shifter too. Apparently that helps it to break alot faster

      Talk English wtf is the bushes

    • @worlddxb
      @worlddxb Год назад

      @@terafoley3020 it’s so bad how manufacturers make cars. For a little rubber piece that should costs a couple hundred dollars they replace the whole control arm which is iron and made to last the life of the car. It doesn’t make any sense. Prices of cars and the upkeep is too much, even for people who have decent salaries. No wonder people are opting for EVs with no maintenance or petrol costs.

I use to tow my canam 1000 on a 12ft trailer in my 3.6 rubicon on 40s and stock gears though the mountains at 65. I don’t think you will ever have any issues with that. Legally, manufacturers cannot deny your warranty claim because you didn’t have the work done at the dealership. If you have proof of the maintenance items being taken care of at other places, it’s illegal for them to deny it.

So now I have my: 2021 corvette c8 & 2022 wrangler rubicon xtreme recon 392 , and my new 2022 ZR2.
