This is my 3rd Overland and the new one, is very impressive. I took a chance with the 4XE and no regrets, so far. Yes, you need a level 2 charger cause the level 1 is insanely too long for 29 miles of electric, but one way to work and maybe half back home on electric is sweet for me. The car is so comfortable and quite. The 19 speakers Macintosh is superb. The size of the car is just right. Just overall great to lease.
Since nobody mentions it, is there a sensor when you close the trunk and someone is in the way? Like does it stop, reverse, or just continue to close if a body part is in the way?
Nice review. I ended up buying my wife a fully loaded limited with the sunroof, tech package, black appearance and the headrest TV’s. This helped me decide because truly she didn’t need the Overlands air suspension or the other little features.
I have a V6 '21 Overland L with 2nd row buckets, McIntosh sound, air suspension, massaging seats, full pano sunroof, etc, Just missing the rear headrest screens. Amazing vehicle and very happy with it. 🙂
The second row captains chairs make the third row easily accessible. And comfortable seating for 4 is what you usually need. How often do you have 3 in the second row. Have the limited L with captain chairs. I love this car. We are a Jeep family; Maserati SUV, Wrangler 392 and now grand Cherokee Limited L. Get the limited l with tech package and sun roof. Perfect
He’s talking about a flush floor with all seats down. I sleep in the back and absolutely hate how so many mid size are going to captains seats on higher trims
Just so you know there is an L Overland too. You kept the L vs the Overland. Overland is not exclusive to the 2-row. And there is an L limited and vs Regular limited. So in this review you are comparing 2 different car models with 2 trim levels. Would have been better to do L Overland vs regular Overland
Good review engine options would should have been included. I think the Overland gives an option for the 5.7 Hemi and maybe the inline 6 Hurricane twin turbo engine if I am not mistaken.
Only on Overland and up. I test drove an Overland GC L. A month ago. If you go lower than Overland even with tow pkg it doesn't include the actual hitch. That would have to be added aftermarket or by dealer for about $1400 is what I was quoted. Not happy about that cuz i want it factory installed but I also prefer 18in wheels. At least with the air suspension i can lower it closer to ground to get in and out easier.
Ended up getting the limited with black package and of course with leather bench seats which was a hassle trying to find. Three kids and plus their cousins (2)we needed the bench seats. I love it and as time go on I like it more and more. That adaptive cruise control with the breaking distance works wonders for long road trips.
Honestly the lower trim models don’t come with a engine cover… Odd, I know. Engine covers appear on overland summit and summit reserve. Also worth noting on the L version Overland trim and higher can be had with the hemi V8
like the longer wb GCL overland has a true low range but air suspension jeep needs a trial rated -trail hawk Grand cherokee L with 2 row perfect size for us to build a car camper overlander expedition vech. not as big or wide as a wagoneer / tahoe , the rear roof line on the 2 row GC looks more like the org wagoneer s than the new wagoneer
Quadra Drive II is not for lift. It's 4WD option with LSD also show me air fryer that can run on 150w😂. Laptop maybe You do good reviews enjoyable to watch but then there are those things 😅
@Marcusjj1973 I have one in my durango and love it. Yes, other engines could be more powerful and refined, but this pentastar has been bulletproof, and for me that comes 1st.
@@rehsa-zc6zq Bulletproof but raggedy, I get it. Typical American car low bar. Their new I6 is worlds better and there is nothing to suggest it’s going to fall apart.
@@VagabondBuilds I'm starting to like the new 2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED, I have 1 more year on my 2021 Jeep grand cherokee limited lease.... I'll trade it in for the all black on black new limited !!

Two-row, Three-row or 4Xe options from Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2023. The redesigned Jeep offers comfort, tech and a lot of features 😍

@@LonghornsLegend Yes it does, it depends where it hits you too. Its sensitive, but not enough like MB or BMW.

Could have gotten an overland with all the extra add ons
@@Ohsnapitscharly For an extra $9,000 and black appearance package isn’t available on the overland or summit…
That’s the right combo… teak package with sun roof. Same for us
You can still get the overland without the air ride.
thx u for sharing.
You’re most welcome! Thanks for the feedback!
Great video, solid information, and well presented. This really helped me make my decision - the Overland.
Honestly, real encouraged to read that. We appreciate the comment here at our channel! What was most helpful?

goodpoint on wheel wheel trims, much prefer when they are the same color as the body paint. Thx for pointing the rims out, they look good to me.
Glad we can be of help honestly!
I'd rather have a 60/40 bench rear seat inside of buckets for a solid flush floor when all seats are down
You would like the partial seat allowed to be put down?

I have seen limited models with moon roofs.
Must be an add on option.
Yes you can add on as well as a tech package. Had it in a caddy and never used so bought my 2024 Limited L without it.
What is the package called on the Overland that has a passenger screen on the dash?
Hello.
I believe it's called Uconnect 5 Passenger Display.
@VagabondBuilds thank you 🙏🏾
Regarding the L - Limited I noticed there was NO SPARE TIRE in your review, is there a spare? Can I get a sun roof and the Alpine system?
You can get the upgraded bells and whistles but then you will be paying more money for them .
The space-saver spare is stowed under the rear cargo area. A special tool is used in the little cargo area to lower the spare for use.

I agree with you. Thank you for the constructive criticism.
Which trim has the daytime running lights on all day? Or is it an option?
Ummm. I believe that is a standard feature on the led headlights.
Good review engine options would should have been included. I think the Overland gives an option for the 5.7 Hemi and maybe the inline 6 Hurricane twin turbo engine if I am not mistaken.
Maybe I’ll start throwing those in honestly.
Beautiful LED lighting
Yes it is. I like the lighting on these new cars.
Why did they go back to the dial-transmission selector that was responsible for some deaths, most notably a tie Anton Yelchin?
Wow, I didn’t realize that…. I couldn’t tell ya…
Is a tow package standard on any of the levels or do you have to order that with the vehicle?
I believe it isn’t. You have to add it on as an additional option.

@@sssophiesmom Looking at the build your own content, you have to special order the tow package as it is a totally different bumper.
Any skid plate cover catalytic?
I couldn’t say, maybe research online to try to find if that’s an option or maybe an add on accessory you would have to buy.
No skid plates.
It’s part of the off-road package for the overland and that isn’t available in the states… oddly Canada can get the off-road package.
You can get moon and sun roof on the limited. Seen one with heated cloth seats which still felt premium.
Yea, I’m sure you can add on things. It’s all what you get with the packages when purchasing the car.
