It would work out better in the long run, if you top stitched the seam allowances at each end of your cord casings. The constant friction of using the cords, will fray the ends with unfinished edges. Lovely work.

Lovely bag. Question in I want to make a bag w 30.48cm h 32.7cm the main fabric size will be w 32.48cm h 64.4cm and the casing where sting goes will be w 31.48cm h 5.5cm. Just making sure I did that correctly. Love this bag
