Cats fan here. This series is far from over, I expect NY to come out with a different game plan game 2, here is the problem, Cats can adapt to any teams play style. I was chuckling at Rangers fans saying this was over in 5 or 6, they didn’t expect the Cats to come and play. This is going to be a great series against 2 very strong teams, I’m just excited to watch it

I don’t think so to be honest, the Rangers weren’t the President Trophy winner for nothing. The Cats just played a better game in game 1. I expect this series to go 7. The Cats are just astounding as they can play any style of hockey. If you want to push around, well, just ask Boston how that went. NY’s best bet is to play fast smart hockey and get shots on Bob, by shots I mean at least 30 per game.
Boomer is totally spot on--Florida smothered the Rangers. Gio sounds like Adam Carolla.

They need to figure out how to deal with Florida's forcheck. Florida stuffed them and were relentless. Didn't give them an inch. That's exactly how we should have played. I just think it was a coaching mistake. I think we expected Florida to come out and play a really dirty physical game, but they did the exact opposite. They were physical but they were more focused on strategy and offense. I don't think we were prepared for that. Hopefully they make the proper adjustments and come out stronger next game. This game does have me very concerned though.

Nobody has said Rempe is going to be a savior or change the Panthers forecheck. His size and playing style will just add more than whichever bottom 3 forward he replaces.
