Whats crazy is I use a Dark Moon INT build and I was struggling here like crazy but I wasn't going to respec so I tried a different approach... I turned audio OFF and won after a few tries. It became hell of a lot easier to dodge his moves since a lot of boss fights in this game are sensory OVERLOAD. Also remember to mostly dodge into him or stand next to him and he wont be able to hit you !

I was already using blasphemous blade, but your talismans helped increase damage. Also, what helped immensely was using the “flame shrouding cracked tear” in my physick flask.
This did finally work for me. I had to summon Thiollier and mimic, and avoid getting hit. Once knight got busy with them I stepped in with blasphempus blade flame. Had to avoid dying, and let summon and mimic occupy knight, but it worked yahoooo
+10 mimic, the jellyfish shield, flame grant me strength, golden vow, moonlight darksword... Use both incantations, use the jellyfish shield skill, use MLDS skill, summon mimic.....melt boss
If you're running a faith build, you don't have to cheese him, you can one shot him easily. Here's how I did it. You need 70 faith, so there's that to start. Maybe you could do it on 60, I don't know, my first try I almost one shot him on 70, but didn't quite do it, but then I also wasn't using the Rakshasa armor for a damage boost on my first try, so there's that. I have 70. He was about one hit with a good weapon from death the first time I tried it (then killed me cuz I suk 😂), about 5/10% left. Second time he died instantly. Right hand: Jellyfish Shield+9 (equipped), Bolt of Gransax+9. Left Hand: Golden Order Seal+9 (equipped), Erdtree Seal+10 (You SHOULD use Gravel Stone Seal, but I can't because I burned the Erdtree before I got it.) Armor: Black Dumpling, Rakshasa armor. Talismans: Godfrey Icon, Lightning Scorpion Charm, Faithful's Canvas Talisman, Flock's Canvas Talisman. Physick flask: Lightning Shrouded Cracked Tear, Bloodsucking Cracked Tear. Pre fight ritual: Cast Golden Vow, then Howl of Shabriri. Then you immediately drink your fp flask, then your physick flask, then your health flask, then you apply the buff to the Jellyfish Shield. Drop to the arena, run until you see the boss, charge Ancient Dragon Lightning Strike, don't just cast it, charge it, and he dies. That easy.
Fingerprint shield to make him do zero damage two headed turtle talisman for stamina and blasphemous blade for heavy damage thank you for the weapon suggestion really helps in this fight
Got him on my first attempt with this. Went Bull Goat on the Chest Piece, then Solitude Armor for the head, feet and legs. Bull Goat Talisman. Talisman of the Dread, Fire Scorpion Charm, and Ritual Sword Talisman. Flame Shrouding Tear and Cerulean Tear in the Flask. Got him in less than 30 seconds. Couldn't quite pin him against the wall, but it all still worked out just fine!!! And NO Rotten Breath for this one?!?!?!?! LOL.
I did it with Tiche and a sword with aspects of the crucible wings as its ash or war. This got me off the ground during his blue flame attack (or whatever that is) and let me swoop in to support tiche.
Interesting (easy kill) video. Knowing your love of Rot Breath you didn't reciommend it for this fight although others have since he is weak to Rot (apparently). Also he is weak to Holy Damage. I want to think think that Waves of Gold would be useful here.
Blasphemous Blade already took me to NG+6 in the base game and lots of SOE already. Funnily enough I went for new weapons on this MF. Well, looks like I get back to BB, thanks to you!
ive beaten dlc multiple times, this thing right here puts radahn to shame, i actually dont know why radahn is so easy to me yet this is the hardest boss ive ever faced in my life
I think the reason this boss is so bad is becaue he is freaking Sonic The Hedgehog and also attacks very fast and like one attack takes down HALF of your health idk if its because im on NG+7 but man he hits HARD and you get a split second to react! D:

Diesen bekommt man von dem boss der auf diesem großen schwein reitet! Man mus danach die Kriegsasche von seiner waffe nehmen und auf die eigene waffe drauf packen, dass das geht wissen viele nicht!
I have 60 faith and vitality and the rest are just average/below average stats and about level 160 here total. And the skill is what gives HP back, not just regular hits. Hope this helps!
He sucks cause he legit never target my mimic, it’s always me!! And the bolt of gransax works really well, but bro never stops targeting me so I can’t use the skill
Equip the talisman that makes the enemy aggro you only, then summon mimic, then you have enough time to unequip it and replace with whatever turning your mimic into a punching bag and giving you more breathing room.
seriously they went a bit too far with the boss difficulty in the DLC but this is just pure BS: a giant enemy is also fast as fuck and does bs attacks like the charge one and the blue flame, classic Fromsoft

The wall method doesn’t work at all for me. It only worked in this video because the boss didn’t dismount at the beginning. That is a rare occasion
