Moving along to some more great NES games for the 8BS revamp, let's get into G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero! A wonderful game based on the G.I Joe franchise, thanks to being done by the talented developer KID, with tight gameplay, outstanding graphics and a good challenge, this is a fun game to beat! And justice is served better with the soundtrack by Nobuyuki Shioda & Yusuke Takahama, so many catchy songs and the original composition given to the main theme is better than we could have ever expected! There has been some theories for who programmed the sound driver for a lot of the first batch of games KID developed, mostly the CEO of KID, Hisayoshi Ichikawa, but has remained unconfirmed. This is also notably the last game Taxan published, at least they ended on a banger!

Everyone always mentions Batman, Castlevania, and MegaMan as having the banger soundtracks on the NES, but I would argue that this game holds its own against all of those games, and in some cases comes out on top with it's sheer consistency of bangers. There are just no misses in this game, every tune is unique and catchy, with a wide range of style and tempo. Superb OST!

It's actually based on a relaunch, first turned into a marvel-published comic book in 1982, to coincide with the relaunch , then in 1983, the joes were now turned into a cartoon, however the cartoon was much more different than the comic books.
