Just began consistently playing Mirage for Br and two shields cells with Golden backpack and Golden arnor is so fun, Instant heals and combine that with squad heal perk relic 😅
I use a battle beaver ps4 controller with two buttons in the back. Left back button is used for jumping. Right back button is used for crouch spamming. All other binds are default.
Most guns have a set recoil pattern that only varies a little with each spray. (For example, the r99 will always kick right.) I just counter strafe in the direction of that recoil to negate the horizontal recoil. It's intuition at this point. The firing range is your best friend. Warm up in the firing range with all guns and no attachments except a gold extended mag for a minimum of 10 minutes with dummies on constant max strafe speed (your goal is to be able to consistently one clip every dummy at mid range). Practice in the firing range over and over again. Your brain will eventually develop muscle memory for the recoil of each weapon, and it will become second nature shooting them. This takes time and a lot of playing hours. Also, max your FOV. I found recoil control easier when zoomed out. I would try out Kontrol Freeks if you don't use them already, I use the Ultras and can't shoot without them. I've been playing the game every day for over 2 years now, so you can't really compare yourself to me. I literally don't touch grass. Set realistic goals, acknowledge that things like this take time, and don't stress too much; it's just a game. Best of luck.

Please take into account, I only use high sensitivity for "content" it makes your POV look faster. If I was trying to get better at the game, I would definitely lower it. My brother Brian uses the exact same settings as me, except he mains the Xbox Controller with a "Classic Kontrol Freek" on the right stick instead of the Ultras that I use). We are constantly switching back and forth testing both controllers atm because of the aim assist nerf, I find the ps4 controller gives more aim assist close range, though it feels harder to track compared to xbox roller. I personally would't copy others settings, everyones different, I use to copy others and didn't improve, only got worse. You have to find and teat what's right for you.
Tbh, I wouldn't be able to do what I do in Ranked (Solo). Yes, I could still win my 1v1's, but would lose every fight against a team of really good players. I currently enjoy pub stomping and the content I make, so I'm gonna stick with it for now.
