I've noticed that when i do deficit bulgarian split squats, my rectus femoris is very sore the next day because of such deep hip flexion. I've always wanted to see that muscle pop on my thighs, and i feel it also greatly helps with knee and ankle stabilization, as well as all around balance, so I incorporated them into my regular fitness routine.
Thanks for watching! That's great to hear you're enjoying them. I just posted a video on the gastrocnemius muscle today ruclips.net/video/npKZgJ9B5b0/видео.html there will more lower leg muscles coming soon.
